Quick summary of a just completed trip to Russia. Primarily StPb, but also visited that "other" capital.

Used Airbnb to find an apartment and was very satisfied. Rented a comfortable studio for 63$ a night. Once I figured out the route, it was only abut a 10 minute (fast) walk to the nearest metro.
