When I lived in Tijuana I was in the bar every afternoon and at night on the weekends. The norm for me was girls coming back to my place after work for free or during the week stopping by when they got off work. So I'm not going to make a statement that the girls do this for everyone and consider it the norm.

Only negative was paying $5 for a tecate, but I exchanged it at the bar and gave a tip. Nice to roam around and tip ladies and feel on their butt. It must be 100 x worse in the rest of Tijuana's ghettos. The shootings were targeted, but you still have a chance to get caught in the cross fire. If you see people mumbling "cuanto? Cuanto?" they are street dealers. , best to steer clear of them. Also when the Guardia National trucks drive around with their loaded Squad Auto Weapons, best to stay away and find a place to hide. You never know when they open fire on cartels.

HK has turned into a rowdy fish market, jam packed with guys on weekends, letting narcos flinging hundreds $ around to clamoring crowds, stepping over each other to scoop up the bills from the floor. The narcos are doing their retarded shit shows and main attractions,. Everyone focus on these guys and their loose change, not the girl or strippers.

New Year night Steroid Bob was hanging out shirtless in the club with his bar GF Ashley and his sicario, carrying a tote bag, likely with a Mac-10 and a couple clips. I suspect the guy is CJNG which has been trying to muscle Sinaloa cartel out of Tijuana. If they get into a fire fight that automatic pistol can kill and maim a lot of people quickly.

When HK girls insist on payment upfront in the hotel, they are likely to spring droopy boobs, bloated tummy, saggy butts, ridiculous pumped up assets or dead fish pussies. About half of HK girls have unbearable stench in their crotches, disgusted me. Have to limit within a dozen or so known clean girls and strippers who I can see their bodies and squeeze their assets to make sure.

But HK has a lot of hot girls. The other bars are not worth spending time and money in.

Yes, Tijuana is not as safe as Asia and you can always spank it at home.

But you are watching to much Fox News. There was a reporter interviewing someone from Mexico who was involved with the drug world and he said if you're not involved with drugs or gangs down there you have a better chance of dying from old age compared to violence.

There are many things you can do to reduce your risk.

1. Take the Zona Shuttle to and from HK.

2. Don't walk on the street. Just stick at HK for a few hours and there is plenty of action!

3. Don't drink too much so you keep your head in a good decision making place.

3. Go during the day. It gets a bit crazier during the night.

Those three simple steps will decrease your risk hugely.

Would be interesting to ask anyone on the on this board when they did have issues with the police or muggers in Mex. Did they get into trouble if they would have done the above?

Here's a quick summary of my first experience.

Had a work trip and took advantage by staying the weekend. FYI this was Halloween weekend. I had a rental and did not want to risk any car accidents so I parked at the motel and paid 20 $ for 2 nights. I apologize I don't remember the name I believe it was Holiday lodge motel. Honestly this seemed the best option for those that want to leave their car and disappear to MX. From there it's a straight 5 min walk to the border. I had some edibles / MJ and was nervous about getting caught so I popped BOTH edibles and left the MJ.

It's pretty surprising how easy it is to cross the border. Whole process took <5 minutes. Def could've brought all my MJ and wouldn't have gotten in trouble but I didn't want to ruin my trip. I took the HK shuttle and it was about 5 minutes to get to HK. Figures as soon as I pull up both edibles start to kick in HARD. The bouncers point me to check in and I walk up the stairs and mind you my heart was beating bc of the edible anxiety and overall anticipation of what I was getting into. Right behind me there was an old local cat with an absolute beauty heading upstairs to do their thing. I start to get so excited. Security can be tedious as they search you each time you come in. VIP guy came and talked to me while security thoroughly searched my bag. He literally looked everywhere. So I was super blasted while this VIP guy was trying to get me to sign up for VIP card while also making sure security didn't take anything. I brought multiple singles so I was nervous he might try to pull a fast one. They really go through everything. I signed up for vip but that was a rookie move bc I didn't really benefit from much aside from the daily free drink and the room discount only applied to the weekday. Whatever I was high and excited LOL.

Once I checked in they scanned my ID and took the 30 $ deposit. Cash. They got me a room on the 6th floor which was solid and I went on my way. I took the elevator and struggled to get into my room with the card LOL. I unpacked and started to get ready. I had to get one of the workers to help me with wifi and safe. I put my passport and important stuff in there. Last thing I wanted to avoid was trouble for when I had to leave Sunday. Room phone wasn't even connected and was missing a power cable LOL. I had to unlock my CC for when I went to the ATM. I wasn't sure whether to take out in usd or mx pesos. The fees varied and I ended up using usd ATM. Maybe you guys have better insight on this but def bringing cash is better. Was just nervous about bringing $1000 in cash and losing it.

After I got settled and everything I went for a walk. Decided to save HK for last. Went to tropical. First timer so a mesero sat me down and got me a drink. Just scanned the area and asked for a drink. Wanted tequila to calm down the nerves don't forget I'm still blasted af. I'm fluent so never really ran into an issue. Eventually mesero brings me a girl and wow he did good. She was cute seemingly innocent and new to the game but I didn't want to hop on the first girl so I paid for 2 fichas gave her a handful of singles and said I would be back. I would never see her again and would def regret it.

Made my way to Adelitas and Chicago similar process. Sat down and ordered some drinks and had some company but didn't really get persuaded enough. Just wanted to check out the scene. I've seen beat downs between drunk homeless people, but nothing else. People are very friendly and hospitable compared to Americans I've encountered. Best to stay off international board if you're scared. I'd be more scared driving around Compton, Chicago, Miami, D.C., or New Orleans. I love new experiences and meeting new people. I've seen some severe beat downs in Thailand compared to Mexico, but you don't hear about it in international news. They send people flying off balconies in Thailand. Supposedly Epsteind. From what I am reading on Costa Rica Ticas web-site is regaining or has regained itself and Hotel Del Rey in the evenings after 8 PM is PRIME TIME. Have a bunch of fun!
