Medellin Reports

Arrived two days ago and got settled in Centro off Street 47 in a hotel (recommend Hotel 47 Street Medellin. Nice rooms but not in best part of Centro, so one must be careful at night). Have done some basic "first time to Medellin traveler stuff" and hit the Centro Casas with mixed results. New Life, Aiffe, and others around that area with no hits. New Life had some lookers, and did a session there with Pamela that was nice. Would rate it a 7 - clock watcher and just no GFE anything. Kinda robotic.

I've done the research here so more than anything, I would truly like to have a drinking buddy / wingman to hit some of these places (particularly bars, clubs where independents or even Paisas hang out). Flying solo in Medellin is hard. Most / all woman are in groups outside the Casas and Strip Clubs. I'm 42 from the USA And in MDE for another 8 days. Perfectly fluent in Spanish. So. I have a trip planned in the relatively distant future and I have reserved at the Mansion.

My only concern reading through the Medellin reports in general is the number referencing CBJs and not-so-hot girls, as well as limited services.

I may check out the Thai Spa since anal seems to be on the menu there.

I wonder if you guys could help me choose a proper place for accommodation. I will be coming to Medellin in October for a few days (4/5 nights).

I have obvioulsy read the various reports on the Mansion but I got the impression it's a US-focused place that caters mostly to mongers that are interested in "seeing" girls 24/7. I also have heard of Colombia Jake (who I believe is on ISG) but, again, it seems to me that he is a service-provider heavily oriented toward P4 P which sounds like a perfectly nice way to spend time (especially when it comes to Jake's date services), it's just not 100% what I am after.

My stint in MDE is part of a larger 2-week tour of Colombia. That's why I am hoping to see the City and its surrounding areas during the day and play at night.

I am not particularly comfortable with brothels (personal taste that's all) so would be looking to score on a 1-on-1 basis and then bring her back to my place. I am looking to have pros and non-pros so I am sort of looking for a place where you could bring back girls without having the walls of your bedroom constantly vibrating with screams and moans because some chica is having her face banged against the headboard! .

You can take anyone back to Mansion but a non-p4 p might be less than impressed with its p4 p-friendliness. It's in an excellent location for good restaurants and shops. Lleras Parque, the main nightlife and (mainly non-p4 p) hookup area is a short cab drive away. I'd say it's mostly under-30's but you might like that area if you have good game in Spanish.

There are non-Poblado locations that are are less 'artificial' with nightlife but time is a major factor for you in getting to know Medellin. Poblado is not very central and it's Metro station (unlike, say, Estadio) is a taxi ride from main strips like Lleras. It's hard to advise without knowing your style. Backpacker-types might prefer somewhere more downtown for seeing museums, art, and rapid connections to places. Whereas in Poblado you can be a tourist that is waited on, just pay for everything, and everything is more straightforward. Taxis in Poblado have GPS and you are unlikely to get mugged there or ripped off unless you are very unlucky or lacking in care. In other words, if in doubt, Poblado is usually the 'default' recommendation.

If you make a reservation for 2, you at least have a good chance of not being charged for your extra guest. Keep in mind though, that's one guest and only one guest. So if you come back with a new girl, that's a hit or miss with hotels on allowing the girl to just register vs. A girl registering and you getting charged. I stayed at Park 10 last month which is a one of the better hotels in Poblado, first chica registered. No issue there. No charge on that. When I came back with another woman by my side, the same front desk employee having recognized me from the night before let me know there would be a charge for this as I'm bringing back another guest. I let him know my reservation is for two, and he let me know that yes it's for two but if you are changing up guests then there's a charge. I didn't want to spend time arguing on it, and just asked the guy to give me the form to sign, take her ID copy, and let me get on my way. The same thing had happened at the Hotel Diez, although I was able to get through one night with a chica and not having to register. But most hotels will have someone right outside the entrance (security) and then you have the front desk. If you find a hotel where the lobby is large enough and the elevators in a location where you don't pass by the front desk, you might be OK there. Otherwise you can expect the same as I did.

If you read the hotels list section, you can see some suggestions there. One decent hotel which does not seem to have an issue with bringing girls back is the Art Hotel.

It is known as a tourist area and that attracts thieves. I feel safer in Laureles, for example. It is also a very nice area but not as popular with tourists.
