I do need to book a hotel room very soon, I am not looking for the cheapest option. Just what is close to the action (prefer walking distance) and a nice place with a comfortable bed. Price range is $75. $100 I would be perfectly fine with.

Some guys on site take issues with young black guys wearing hip hop garbs. Trayvon Martin affect. I am an older guy and truly have no affection for the way these guys present them selves. However they are individuals and should not be judged solely on the cloths on their back. My car broke down in a bad location. A young guy with low riding pants stopped and help me with my flat. 100s of cars with belt wearing guys rolled by me without a look. When we were younger some folk did not like how we wore our hair. Every generation has to be different. This is very normal Just remember the stuff we wore in the 70s and not laugh. These guys are our children and nephews. They need our love not our disdain. Arriving at pop going to Sosua right when you past the public beach start looking on your left and you will see a bank on your left you can exchange your legal money for Dominican money but you have to show passport. For all the guy's who had rather not deal with all the I'd thing just look for guy's holding big wads of cash in there hands on the street they are everywhere.

Most are very polite, etc. Just some of them remind me sometimes of when I went on vacation for the first time to Spain in 1964. At that time most British vacationers did not have any specific warm-weather leisure clothing, so you would see people on the beach wearing elastic top gym shorts left over from high school or military service twenty years ago combined with short gray polyester socks and leather shoes, plus long sleeved button down shirts with the sleeves rolled up. They stood out like sore thumbs, but the truth was they were wearing the same things they would wear in the yard on the very occasional hot day in England (this was before global warming) , and they probably didn't have the money to buy clothes that they would only use on vacation. This was even before the time that people would make cut off shorts out of a pair of old jeans, because most people didn't have jeans back then, which were an expensive American import.
Another thing that came from the video of the public prosecutor was how she was saying that many of these tourists come to Sosua specifically for sex and nothing else. Obviously that is hardly news for anyone on this board, but I think a general lack of discretion leads to Dominicans paying more attention to something that might be less obvious if people were more discreet. I have had guys who don't know me from Adam start conversations with me in the street about girls they had last night, how much to pay, where to find girls, etc, when I could be FBI for all they know. Or if I ask how they are enjoying their vacation, they immediately start talking about girls, Disneyland for adults, etc, rather than the beach, the weather, the food, the hotel, Dominican culture, Dominican music, the language, the general ambience, or any other potential conversational topic that people usually talk about on vacation when meeting strangers.

In fact mongers pay more than people vacationing. While mongers may not buy T shirts they certainly pay for the girl, drinks and sometimes take the girl out for shopping and tours. Mongers do exchange info on their experiences.
FBI is not going to prosecute anybody even if they are listening in on monger activities.
If the prostitution is legal the politicians should not be complaining about mongers coming for sex.

Maybe they are right, and maybe they are not.

At Blackbeards all they do is invite the girls over and you pay your money directly to the girls; not to the "house". They essentially have the very exact same set up as New Garden, just with hotter chicas.

Few countries have followed the example of Sweden in making it a crime to be a male client of a prostitute while exempting females from any legal charges, but Britain was seriously considering it and then instead introduced a bizarre law that made it a "strict liability" offense to have sex for money with a "trafficked" woman-meaning the man was guilty regardless of whether he knew the woman was "trafficked" or not. I don't think anyone has actually been prosecuted under this law yet.
There is no doubt that the DR could do a lot to reduce its charm as a sex tourism destination simply by enforcing existing laws, which seems to be what is going on right now with the massage parlor closures and the move to close Passions.

Again from the Alba Nunez Pichardo video, one of the things they are railing about is that most of the girls are 15 to 23, but the many of the men are 50, 60, 70. One might question the lower numbers, but evidently they don't like the aesthetics of intergenerational prostitution.
