You were actually one of the very few guys on here I trusted for information. Not anymore. I will also stop asking questions and will not post about my upcoming 1 month trip. The board can thank you for that.

edit - actually I'll continue asking questions when I feel fit. Didn't realize asking questions was against the rules on ISG. Again, please put me on ignore Natty so you don't have to put up with my "adolescent boy" questions.

Its you and other ISGers who think the guys handing out 100 Baht notes are dumb. The girls don't mind it at all. They merely think the guy has plenty of money to waste, and they want a piece of the action. They respect the guy more than ones in some bars who buy a bucket of ping pong balls where 50% of the money goes to the house. There is no way in the world I would invest in ping pong balls. Girls like cash tips much better.

Nice looking girls will come to me automatically because I am not too stingy and they know it. My favourites can get a drink and maybe even a cash tip. They have to be quick since there is always a limit to how many girls I want, to entertain me close up.

Bottom line is the best girls will go to guys that treat them the best. 100 Baht is only 3.5 bucks. Some of us are employed and 3 bucks is very little. Far more value to the girl than to me.

Can't assume every bar customer is trying hard to hang on to every last Baht. BB is used to Europe etc. where prices are much higher.

I usually just skim over posts made by BM's that I think are full of BS. But in your case, I will look forward to reading your trip report. I may have been too rough on you, maybe not. Patience is not one of my virtues, but you remind me of someone I used to know. Not a bad guy, just a little.... Well, forgetaboutit. I have said enough. Have a great trip. Use common sense and whatever else you have have going for you. Try to be flexible. And the most important thing: treat the girls nice. There is still a very good chance you will have a great time.

I realize my questions about Thailand are juvenile but how can they not be if I have never been there before. I will try refraining from asking more questions to not upset guys. Personally, I like to be helpful and have helped countless guys in their first trip to Germany and other parts of the world. I expected a bit of reciprocity asking a few questions about Thailand but I guess that doesn't sit well with some guys on here.

I don't come here bragging about being a cheap ass or overspending on girls. I believe in treating people well and being treated well back. You are bound to make all sorts of errors, and you can RTFF all you want, you will not be immune to rookie mistakes. Read a few posts on the hotel thread, make a booking and head off to the airport. Embrace the adventure and joy of discovery.

[/QUOTE]Perhaps not everyone expressed it very well, but the general trend of our answers to you are that Thailand is in no way like the USA or even the German FKKs.

One does not "chat to 100+" girls in an agogo club here. For starters, I don't think there are much clubs that have that kind of number of girls.

Even having 10 or more girls in the same club sit with you will be difficult. It is just "not done" here and we want to avoid you getting very disappointed when you transplant your US-style to Thailand.

Usually (at least that is the way I work and it seems pretty common here) one goes to an agogo club (or bar) and first one looks a bit around and check the line-up. In most agogo clubs there will be different groups of dancers but 30 or 40 minutes of watching will make you see them about all and then you can make a mental list of your candidates.

Then when your fav is again on stage, try to catch her eye or ask the mamasan or serving girls to call her out for you. She'll come and sit with you if she is free. You pay her a ladydrink, interview her and if she passes the exam, negotiate price and services. That can take all of 15 minutes, the time for her to finish her drink. If she's not to your liking, smile, thank her for her time but don't buy her another drink. She'll catch the hint easily enough. You can perhaps repeat that with a second girl, but then you will have to leave and go elsewhere. The girls are quick to understand what happens and don't like to be picked, checked-out and rejected. That is a "loss of face" and in Asia that is a big thing. If they see you rejecting a few girls in a row, you will be "tainted". Better go out and try another club or bar.

You see, Thailand is more laid back than US or Europe. It is perfectly OK to do a pub crawl and joke around with the bargirls without intending to take them home. But you should only start serious interviews when you are already pretty sure you will take her "home" with you. Otherwise it is a waste of time for you and loss of face to her.

Don't forget, the agogo clubs and bars are mainly here to provide you with girls for short or long time sexual services. They are *not* here to look at the girls only. If that is your intention, far better to stay home and watch the internet.

Banana Boi, Chill. Your questions might, to some forum members appear juvenile, but they're not. I am no expert, but none of the others are, Pattaya is just what it is and little different, in many ways, than your more familiar FKK land. It's a bit of a lottery and it'll take you a couple of days to find your way around. I've been four times and reckon now that I am as expert as anyone because it's not really an exact science. Provided that you can just go with the flow you will have a good time. There'll be some frustrations and some great times so just enjoy it sir and let us know how you're doing. I had a recent trip and had very few poor experiences but I stuck to my usual haunts and it was, in general, great. I might concede that the 'good old days' have gone but as I wasn't there in those days I make do with what is now there. Soi 6 is a great, especially useful in the afternoon, for me where, there are many diamonds in the rough. I don't really expect much of Walking Street and go-gos in general but it can, with the right attitude be fun. Have a good time and I hope to hear from you soon.
