This is the case with cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad etc. I am very surprised to see many ads with digits posted on locanto Kerala. But, how do we screen them? How do we segregate them into Scam & a Lead? I saved few digits on my mobile, but later I realized telegram or whatsApp status shows last online was say 1 or 2 months back. In most cases WhatsApp or telegram DP is pic of some girl. But are they genuine active numbers?

Guys. Please share your views / tips on filtering genuine ones from a long list. I think it will be helpful to others in here too.

I collect the numbers and try trucallr to see what the name is registered as, then proceed to whatsapp said number, maybe a random call in between messaging to catch them by surprise. Since it's kerala, I'll be expecting Malayalam, maybe a bit of Tamil. If I feel them to be original, dive in to it. This thampnoor place was somewhat similar.

It's not fool-proof and have for some luck not yet fell into the deep end of the pool yet.

Here are the tips:

If an ad is posted multiple times under different names and same phone number, it is a fraud.

If the ad promises a lot, it is a fraud. Pimps of stars or starlets don't advertise on Locanto.

If they easily share photos and prices without asking you anything, it is a fraud.

If they are unable to answer normal questions about the locality, they are sitting somewhere else and not in Kerala.

Biggest red flag. If they ask for advance to confirm booking or show photos or whatever.

A genuine pimp will ask you a few questions, want to verify your authenticity, and almost never share photos online. You need to meet them and look at the girl.

Remember, do not be ashamed to just walk away if you don't like what you see. Location, girl, SP's face whatever. It is a financial transaction, not a date. We all have internal radars attuned to detect danger, just follow your instinct and never ever follow your dick.

If they don't verify you or ask for a reference it is usually a scam. Phone cards, gift card purchase as an advance is a scam.

Think this will be helpful. If they ask you for your city after having posted an ad for a particular city, it's likely it's a spam. 50 per cent. Ask them more details. "Is it close to XYZ or ABC (both made up names to test them). See if they fall for it. Also, insist on a quick WhatsApp call. Check to see if they speak local language or not. And DO NOT PAY ADVANCE if not from reliable sources.
