They have taken over the bookings of Budget and seem to have some difficulty with them. I have been double charged for a booking I made through an agent, which is still being sorted out. They also added an unspecified extra charge to my last booking (I think it may be for currency fluctuations) even though I had a prepaid voucher for the entire cost of the booking. Overall the charges are not much (£80 for the car on the first weekend, and £5 for the extra charge) and they will probably be sorted out in the end but it is a pain and I am having to write a lot of emails to my agent about them.

The last car I took from them had damage (some dents) which was not recorded, so it was good that I took a good look at the car before driving off. There were some scratches as well, which were recorded, but even though I knew they were there I couldn't see them in the dark lighting of the Terminal 2 garage. So you really need to watch out when inspecting the car.

I am OK if I get stung for car damage charges though. I have an extra insurance policy (annual) specifically for the excess so I don't have to worry too much about this. I'd recommend that anyone who rents regularly takes one of these out. Its not expensive and gives quite a lot of peace of mind.
