Please be specific on the locations. It is much more difficult to find a place/building in Shanghai due to its complexity. I quite often pass by a building without knowing that is exactly what I am looking for.

Beijing based monger here. Thanks to the great reports on location here in the Shanghai forums, I was able to find Heting a couple of weeks ago when I went to Shanghai for a business trip. Place looked incredibly upscale for me, but the reported price of under 800 assured me a lot.
Went in, mentioned about an abstract friend that recommended the place to me, and the guy told me there was a discount if you checked out before 7pm for 600 for the whole package. (had a flight at 6, missed it, but wouldn't of been able to stay too long anyways)
Showered, rested, and here's the part that impressed me the most. In leading me to the girls the guy went through an electronic door made to look like a door, made me feel mad baller. Turned out in the end that there was multiple ways to enter the shower are from the massage place. The whole place made be feel very relaxed and safe, which is great considering the expo.
Only 2 girls were shown to me (was told ~20 girls there, most busy, I believe it, a lot of guys), no fishbowl experience as the girl told me they had to tone down something. I think I took 187 from hunan. Great body and service. Room was incredibly nice too, much better than the saunas I go to in Beijing. It's on the east side of the street just north of the Macao Restaurant. There's a lighted sign (photo attached, courtesy dianping dot com), and you have to go up a couple steps to enter the lobby. Once you've changed into the PJs (and locked up your phone-they used to let you keep it in a plastic sleeve but no more) you have the option of going straight up to the massage area or relaxing in the hot tub/sauna area and then showering before going up. It's up to you. Sometimes I like to get in a nice sauna and sometimes I want to get right to it.
Once upstairs you will be led into a private room with reclining chairs and a TV. They'll bring you a beer and some fruit (no charge for either) and you can relax for a bit, or again you can ask to be taken directly to the fish bowl to choose a girl (or girls). Here too it's up to you-only rarely will they ask you to wait while the girls become available.
The fish bowl has been excellent 90% of the time. There was only one time that I went and felt like I had to settle-but that time I was with a friend who thought the whole selection was amazing so it really just comes down to taste. Depending on the time of day there will be between 6-20 girls. The guy operating the room may make some suggestions but isn't pushy and I have definitely been there with friends who took their time selecting and we were never hassled to be quick.
Pick your girl(s) and they will come out and lead you to your room. Again, pretty standard soapie set-up. Interestingly, they didn't use to offer the soapie. And as the place is packed with all kinds of people it is advisable to take a seat left from the entrance backrow. That is where the girls put their clothes so you get the first look.
