I prefer to be inside any one bar as little as possible. No kidding, I prefer to be in / out with my barfine in 5-6 minutes. I don't want anyone in the bar to remember me (positively or negatively), other than I hope the experience is somewhat positive for the girl that I barfine. My success on subsequent nights is not dependent on what tonight's barfine thinks of me. Hence my reply of "Who cares"? There is much more to this system than I'm giving away here. However, a girl who barfines with me and then either pimpettes for me, or returns later for ST's, will do better peso-wise under my system than if she repeat barfines with me. And so will her friends (bargirl or non-bargirl).

Angeles may be a big city but the bar scene is very small.

1. Flights. BKK is much better connected with mutiple flights into BKK & DMK. MNL & CRK on the other hand are terrible airports. Scams at the airport is a subjective matter so I will let that pass.

2. Infrastructure. Thailand wins hands down. No question here. The roads are MUCH better and the connectivity in the city is great. The Thais are generally more honest too, but that is again subjective.

3. Transportation. Try getting a good private taxi from Manila to AC and you will know what I am talking about. Thailand is a breeze in comparison.

4. Food. Again, I don't need to hard sell this one. Better tasting, more hygienic, cheaper, and readily available.

5. Hi End Party destinations. Both BKK & MNL have their share of good discos & clubs. But compare Pattaya to Angeles and we have a winner in Pattaya.

So for me Thailand will always remain the gold standard. But then pinay pussy is much more interesting! LOL.

I always love coming to Angeles City. Great place to visit and inexpensive.

I stayed at the Red Planet hotel which is a good 3000 meters from the Fields avenue, and I would NOT recommend you walk alone in that neighborhood at night. Angeles City is like any place in the world, and crime is there, you will need some common sense to avoid it. However, there is a convenient Jeepney service at 8 Peso a ride that you can take to the main area. I began to really like the Jeepney service a lot from the hotel to the downtown. The regular scooter people will charge you 100 peso. Red Planet was good value for the money.

Bars:

I liked Labamba on fields avenue. For one price, you get the girl and the other fees. Most of the bars are like that where the combination of other fees and the girls time will range between 2100-3000 peso depending on the place. Compare to Makati or Edsa in Manila where there is a 3000 Bar fine PLUS the girls fees, Angeles is a real bargain!

As a word of advise, I noticed that the places getting raid are those who accept the girls ages as low as 18. Places not getting raided have a policy where the min. Girl's age need to be 20 years old.

Angeles City is nice, but is third world. Just use your common sense.

LT is US $ 35-50, plus your expenses for night out.

So when you compare like with like, Ptya is much cheaper for bar girls than in AC.

AC doesn't have much beer bars. I think you can only qualify Perimeter bars as beer bars. The bars on Fields are all go-go bars.

By the way: the prices you quote for Pattaya bar girls are way too low. When was the last time you were there?

Yes, I'm comparing Ptya beer bars to AC clubs. Because they are fundamentally the same thing in terms of them being the most popular place to pick up for foreigners. They are "the bread and butter" of each place, so to speak, where most guys (and girls) hang out, including I.

I'd say it's probably fair to compare Ptya go-gos to spotlight dancers in AC.
