Anybody reading those FRs has to do a double currency conversion to get to local prices, which given currency fluctuations (especially a double conversion) means their expectation of what to pay can vary a lot. The local price doesn't vary that much over time so that's the only figure we should be using IMHO. Though I concede stating "1000 Php, or about US $21" is fair enough.

I am not to sensitive though but thanks for remembering me (I know we also have some swedish followers).

Was out last night from 8 pm to after 1 am and I have never since it so dead. Most of the bars where empty. Also sad to see that Paridise bar garden change ownership and now have all new waitress. I am going to miss those girls.

I posted in much the same vein 26th October. Angeles is not the same when Monger numbers are down. And they are down now. Girls look sad. Then guys look flat. Not the atmosphere we are used to.

True, since one is obviously Internet connected here one can quickly dart over to a currency converter site, but for the casual planner a common reference would be useful.

Perhaps we could come up with our own "basket" like economists use to determine costs of living. It would contain ED drugs, condoms, energy drinks, alcoholic beverages, short time hotels and aspirin. A lot of aspirin.

I was only making funny of the POP (price of pussy) comparisons between different cuntries and the different currencies used. Now that you mentioned it, the international benchmarked exchange currency used is the USA Dollar.

For the record I have no wish to convert everything to the USA Dollar.

Same as when I am in the Philippines. If I see a post with pesos, I convert it back to dollar. What is the big deal. If this is posters biggest worry, we have lot the plot.
