In these chats they colluded to push for 100 $ and then 120 $.

The owners are actually against that and warned the girls. Why? Because they don't make anything from that 100 $. HK makes money with volume: selling drinks, rooms, food and other. If the girls raise prices, it decreases the volume of customers and is bad for HK. So you will never see HK owners push for higher Arriba prices since it decreases their income.

Maybe enough guys are asking for a room with "no cucarachas por favor " on the most recent visit I did notice a guy spraying rooms for insects.

Also there are a couple rooms I try not to get due to the safes not working. Well the last trip I was shocked to get one of those rooms and found a brand new safe. Any maintenance at that place is a shocker.

I just felt like the girls were being forced to go with 100 suddenly. From reading guys reports on here, and hearing a few girls tell me 100, the way everything sounded from everyone, was that this was a rule, nobody every mentioned the rule comming from the "girls club". While it may very well be accurate, in my opinion, seeing the drastic price increases in HK, I just felt and still feel. That hk chose this economic formula, in order to keep girls in Tijuana. Or get them to Tijuana for that "cien" dollar price, as many girls are used to twice the Tijuana price, when working in other cities like cabo, etc. In other words 80 bucks wasn't easy to sell to. Girls to get them to fly to a fairly miserable city opposed to their beach tourists cities.

Man I'm so excited, wish I had gone last year with all the time I had. Not looking forward to the summer heat but I hope they have good enough A / see because I won't be outside too much anyway.

Tijuana weather much cooler than the whole east coast or Midwest. You would have to be coming from San Francisco to be concerned about Tijuana heat. October is actually the hotter month for San diego and Tijuana.

Happened to me at some point last year when I went as I usually book a couple months or so in advance. Last year I booked several weeks before a rate increase but they said I still had to pay the current price after the rate increase took effect. To be fair I don't think there's anything in the reservation e-mail that guarantees the locked in price. Yeah it is cheap on their part but whatever. The VIP card did lessen the effect quite a bit.

Assumed (maybe just from TV or whatever) that it was always sunny and warm down there around that time. Was borderline shocked hanging out in LA and other parts of Southern Cal in May and needing a jacket a bunch of nights because it was so chilly. I guess that has to do at least in part with the proximity to the ocean.

Makes sense. I'll be arriving at night too so I'll have to be prepared for the cool winds. Currently have a 4 night stay reserved but I may have to leave a day earlier if I get tapped out.

I think I'll really enjoy simply watching the shows downstairs but the pushy nature of all the ladies and meseros might kill my vibe when I'm down there just to watch.

If $200-250 becomes standard we might as well stay local or fly to other places. I'm guessing you stay close by. Most people are not making 100 k and you don't have to to have some fun. I only hobby when I take vacations and only visit Tijuana when I see a good deal like $80-100 round trip. Just make it make sense.

So like those of you on here that say guys should stay strong and not pay more than X amount the girls are the same way with each other. So if they hear rumors of girls going cheap the will get on them. Same goes for them finding out who is doing things without a condom. This is one of the many reasons I don't discuss price when I'm with a girl. I pay a fair price especially since I usually have a few drinks with them and have never been told I need to pay more. Even the very rare times that the girl asks for money first.

In regards to other parts of Mexico charging more you have to realize that a majority of clubs in Mexico take about half of what you pay so the amount the girls make is about the same. In Tijuana they can make all the money and more clients so they only have to work a minimum amount of time. On top of that if they are smart they build a client list that continues to see them. In vacation places they just have to hope they get lucky some night and a big spender comes in to make a killing from him.
