I just read this article in the newspaper so i am guessing it's fairly accurate.but starting 23rd, the law about prostitution is going to get a lot more strict.with heavier fines and jail terms.They were saying that starting 23rd for about a month, they are going to regulate all the places (such as An-Ma, Hyu-ge-Tel.pretty much all the places that are mentioned in this forum! and i do not know what the deal is with RLDs but i am guessing it's pretty much the same as other places) a lot heavier than usual to set precedent i guess.So just a warning for other mongers.i know we gotta eat, but i guess we gotta eat a lot more carefully now.so i know it sux but my suggestion is to avoid all the places for at least a month or so.unless you KNOW for sure that it's safe.

This is one of Korea's usual "crackdowns" where previously unenforced laws are enforced vigorously for a set (and pre-announced) period during which everyone is on their best behavior. I feel for you guys that are stuck in Korea. It could be worse. At least it's holiday season in Korea during 1 week of the crackdown so you're really only abstaining for 3-4 weeks.

Just for the record, I walked throught Sin-Yongsan RLD the other night and had several offers. I wasn't sure white guys were welcome there. Anyway, in light of the possible "crackdown" not sure if this is useful to anyone. There were some hotties too. They were going for 70,000.

Well just adding a report about my trip to Yeung-deung-po RLD to see my Hyun-Ju (I'm her regular), she called me yesterday to see what I was up to, and told me that she won't be around no more due to this stupid prostitution law thing that goes into effect starting TONITE at 12. So I gave her a ride to the hospital.She was telling me in the car that starting 23rd, all the shops are going to be shut down basically.even tho there are going to be a few shops open late at nite or very early in the morning for the customers and to avoid police. But she said that she has seen a lot more police around the area and there are always two more three that monitor the section. Especially after this crackdown, all the debt that girls has on the owner of shops are going to become illegal funds, so the girls do NOT have to pay it off.
