FYI, Veronica is back @ genesis, imho one of the best mp girls. i actually don't get along with her, we, unfortunately for me, had a misunderstanding, but i have to think of my fellow mongers. the owner also told me they are trying to hire more new girls. I have to say the line up was pretty good.

If you bargain you can possibly get someone to go as low as $40/30 minutes or $60/hr. More than likely you will pay $80-$100 especially if you take a taxi. So after you've made your counter offer and settle on $80-$100 I wouldn't worry. Go all the way down Juarez avenue and turn left walking towards the church. Go up the street on the south side of the church looking for the Large S-Mart grocery Store sign on your left. Turn down Altamirano the street before the S-Mart and continue down till you see the red sign on the right and go into pink ladies. Buy a beer ($2) and survey the room for the girl that looks good to you and invite her over for a drink. Bring your own condoms and on the way back tip the condom lady so maybe you get some extra time before she raps on the door.

Mugging is not a huge problem IMHO, but if you walk back go the main routes. We were walking back last Thursday and came accross some cops that searched us thoroughly. No problems but was a pain in the ass. Leave your medications at home! Good Luck.

Altamiriano is easy to spot, that is the street the Hotel Manport is on.
Pink Ladies is a good walk from there.

Study: Monkeys 'pay' for sex by grooming
In the primate world, sex is subject to the law of supply and demand

SINGAPORE - Male macaque monkeys pay for sex by grooming females, according to a recent study that suggests the primates may treat sex as a commodity.

"In primate societies, grooming is the underlying fabric of it all," Dr. Michael Gumert, a primatologist at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, said in a telephone interview Saturday.

"It's a sign of friendship and family, and it's also something that can be exchanged for sexual services," Gumert said.

Gumert's findings, reported in New Scientist last week, resulted from a 20-month observation of about 50 long-tailed macaques in a reserve in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Gumert found after a male grooms a female, the likelihood that she will engage in sexual activity with the male was about three times more than if the grooming had not occurred.

And as with other commodities, the value of sex is affected by supply and demand factors: A male would spend more time grooming a female if there were fewer females in the vicinity.

"And when the female supply is higher, the male spends less time on grooming ... The mating actually becomes cheaper depending on the market," Gumert said.

Other experts not involved in the study welcomed Gumert's research, saying it was a major effort in systematically studying the interaction of organisms in ways in which an exchange of commodities or services can be observed — a theory known as biological markets.

Dr. Peter Hammerstein, a professor at the Institute for Theoretical Biology at Humboldt University in Berlin and Dr. Ronald Noe, a primatologist at the University of Louis-Pasteur in Strasbourg, France, first proposed the concept of biological markets in 1994.

"It is not a rare phenomenon in nature that males have to make some 'mating effort' in order to get a female's 'permission' to mate," Hammerstein said in an interview, likening the effort to a "fee" that the male pays.

"The interesting result of Dr. Gumert's research on macaque mating is that the mating market seems to have an influence on the amount of this fee," Hammerstein said.

Hammserstein said Gumert's findings indicate the monkeys are capable of adjusting their behavior to "different market conditions."

Gumert completed his fieldwork in February 2005 and first published his findings in the November issue of "Animal Behaviour," a scientific monthly journal.

At the very highest point on the bridge heading south, you look to the SSW & it's out there looking suprisingly close-in (for any of you first-timers, it's a big blue square with a white star).

Thanks to everybody.[/QUOTE]Been my experience the PL doesnt stay open much past 1:30 A.M., but the good girls are gone or in the room long before that.

PL has a 2 am permit, which means they must be completely closed by 2 am.
Some girls, the lower quality usually but not always, will be available after hours right there in the rooms next door.

If that was a dry hole, I'd call the PL & see if they'd tell me whether or not Marlay/Marlena was there (but I don't think she would be on a Thursday.). From there, I'd walk to the San Souci/Casa Colorado & see if maybe the 2 as yet unidentified hot chicks were in there. Rinse & repeat.

Pricing in the clubs seems to me to be $60-? /hh, $80-120/hr for the hottest hot ones.

Mugging, etc. Hasn't been a problem for me. If you don't like the looks of what's ahead of you or behind you, then jaywalk to the other side or at least step out into the street. Tag along behind safe looking family types when possible. Walk like you know where you are going & you aren't afraid. And maybe you should keep a hand in a pocket like your packing & you've got it ready. Don't be drunk & don't be an a-hole. When you're within a few blocks of your club destination, keep in mind that they all have door guys & maybe they'll respond to a gringo's shouting about a bandido or maybe they won't.

*just go in knowing that the waiters are a-holes & the cover charge is a drink, even if that drink sucks. And the bathroom is probably the filthiest one that you've ever seen. The one of their rooms that I've seen wasn't bad though, and it actually had it's own bathroom.
