The Beatles . song "I Saw Her Standing There" starts with the lines "Well, she was just seventeen, You know what I mean." Yeah, we know exactly what you mean.
I imagine they were referring to something that is natural and perfectly legal in their own country. You have been too long in the colonies, Frannie.

Thanks for the review. My experience was quite the opposite and I was there for 3 days, and it wasn't enough time. Of course everyones experience varies at monger locations, some might like Pattaya better than Sosua and vice versa. Each is different and there are positives for all these locations, otherwise I don't think you would see so many people there.
I think patience is key, and although it's easy to get with any girl you can't always expect there to be 8s and 9s in every corner that you look. I personally found plenty of 6s and 7s, and in the evening hours there were plenty of 8s to be found in the right places. Yes there are some girls that are overweight, but there are plenty that are average and slim as well. The 3 blocks and the outdoor bars get plenty of attention and because of the density during the evening hours it's easy to think "well this is all there is here." but you walk around Sosua and there are streetwalkers everywhere and chicas sitting in smaller bars. I was actually pleasantly surprised by this, the first night I stuck to the large outdoor bars on Pedro Clisante but the next day during the early afternoon I ventured out 10-15 mins walk from Rumba. Quite a few girls walking on the streets and it was more than I expected, especially for the daytime. At night if you walk around, it will be even more girls.
As for the quality of girls I was with, I have fairly high standard (I like to think so anyways) and it didn't take me very long to find someone I was attracted to. A couple girls did indeed have kids, but they still looked good. I honestly wish I had been a little more patient on my first trip to Sosua, it didn't take long to get with a girl. As a matter of fact the very first bar I went to I had a girl approach me within 60 seconds of receiving my drink and she was a 7 on my scale. Not a bad start at all. I looked around and saw a couple 7s, a few 5's and sure there were your usual 3s and 4s which are expected. But the quality was still there and I wanted to build a slight connection with the girls I was with, my Spanish is still not great (I know basic words and can get by with a few sentences) but I am learning and am sure in time it will become even better. The girls do seem to enjoy a guy trying to speak Spanish, it made me feel a bit more at ease as well. The reason why I wish I had more patience was because there was higher quality all around and I would usually see one or have one approach me and settle for that. And once I got done and the girl left I kept thinking about the other girls that I saw and was hoping I'd run into them later on during the day. I only recall running into the same girl maybe once or twice max, but not more than that. There were far too many girls to keep my eyes wandering, and I wasn't looking for the same girl I was with only a few hours earlier. I wanted different every time, I got different every time.
It's not a family destination, but I still saw families. More than I expected, but they were mostly on the beach. Pedro Clisante with all the bars and all the girls is for guys, and families will naturally try to stay away from these areas so it's easy to also think that there are no families around at all. There's just more to Sosua than 3 blocks, and if you venture outside the usual area. You see plenty more. And I'll be back soon to experience it.
I just returned from a 5 day vacation to Sosua and wasn't impressed at all.
For mongers the Sosua sex scene basically consists of 3 blocks with 5 large outdoor bars. The strip has about 200 girls which are looking to session with as many tourists per day as possible.
Most of the girls have kids and are alittle overweight. It gets boring real fast seeing the same girls every night on the strip. There is no reason to spend more than 1 week in Sosua. It gets old real fast.
I felt like a sex tourist in Sosua. There are no families vacationing there only guys.
You do see the same girls over and over especially if you go there several times a year. You just got to get numbers and space out the girls during the day to kill the boredom.

I find vacations to Sosua are best keep short and sweet (under 7 days)
When you find a great girl the time flies by but if you have bad experiences just a few days can feel like eternity
I got to get you on this one brother; so she probably was texting while you were humping with your eyes closed? LOL. Just fucking with you bro. But real talk, thats why I have no interest in fucking any of those D'latins girls. I would bang a girl that hangs out in New Gardens all day first. At least you are guaranteed a good effort without the bullshit. Damn! Chicas are asking for phone minutes now?
Not exactly. LOL. It started with a massage. She was straddling me giving me the massage. When that was done thats when I noticed the phone had moved from the nightstand to the bed. She must have got that sucker when she reached for the lotion. My guess is she wanted to text, but if she couldn't do that she wanted to at least check to see who called or left messages.
I have heard guys say you should avoid chicas that approach you. To a certain extent I agree with that. About 30 minutes after that chica left, another chica came over that I met earlier that day. She handled her business, and she was pretty good. Stayed the night even though we never discussed price or how long she was to stay. BTW both chicas I met while sitting at Rockys. I think both chicas are more Rumba types rather than Dlatins. I have met more chicas sitting at Rockys than all my trips to Rumba or Dlatins. At Rockys I have the opportunity to vet them some without the noise or other distractions.
Almost a year ago the management of el flow decided that they will no longer play reggaeton and dembow music. Don't remember what other style of music they banned. They opted for merengue bachata salsa and pop and dance. They admitted that theirb previous musical selections were attracting the type of crowd they wanted to eliminate. I don't blame them. As a man was shot and killed right in front of the place a year ago during a fight. The video even made it on youtube.
Thanks for sharing that example. There may have been several shootings that occured at or near El Flow. One shooting I recall, happened last year August (I was there 3 days before) was with dominican men. But that incident may not be directly influenced by the music or the clientel at El Flow. Those guys were in a dispute with each other, plus other people were involved. That dispute moved from one club to the next. It just happened to end in front of El Flow. But I agree with you. The management probably did decide to change their musical selection at some point to appeal to a certain crowd / vibe (dominicans / locals) , and eliminate another.

Never bored.
For me, going to the beach to bath, drink, eat, snooze and possibly meet honies is enjoyable. Meeting guys for conversation or hanging out is enjoyable. Having my regulars meet me in Sosua is enjoyable. Occasionally having chicas cook is enjoyable. Going on day trips with favoritas or with friends is enjoyable. Trying out different restaurants in Sosua is enjoyable. Discovering different hotels or potential rental opps is enjoyable. Going to the dentist and getting work done cheaply is a blessing. Getting daily massages on the cheap is enjoyable. Getting a pedi or manicure is enjoyable. I enjoy going to the ball field and watch the youth or adults play. I don't do this, but friends of mine enjoy diving in Sosua. Some guys go to Cabarete for wind surfing. I enjoy having chicas teach me their dance moves. How about just relaxing and not concerned about work or other obligations, enjoying warm weather, especially when it's winter where one lives?
There are always new girls coming to Sosua day to day, month to month, some only later in the evenings. Even girls that took time off for various reasons and then came back (having their period etc) If a guy can see over a hundred plus women, that means those women are available for fucking. What about the other 2 or 3 hundred women not there at the time, but will show up sooner or later? You mean, a monger can't find a few sexy women that meets his physical expectations? Sosua aint a brothel with physical requirements. WTF are picky mongers looking for in a mongering destination? If the woman is of age, her having kids is more likely than not. Sosua boring based on someone elses "week" vacation? I don't think so. Like I have said before. One can only think in one head. And where ones stands on an issue depends on where they sit.

Well she was good, you know what I mean." [Summer Nights from Grease].
Almost certainly just an easy rhyme, Pooter! (But 17 in the UK would be what they call "barely legal" in the US.)

However the writer was perhaps simply starting to confront the issue that, having experienced it, meaningless sex with a different woman every day is not quite as rewarding as one might expect if ones expectations are based on fantasies, Internet porn, etc. And that the law of diminishing returns quickly kicks in, with successive encounters becoming progressively less novel and exciting. If you don't speak the language, that magnifies the effect.

Exactly!
I find vacations to Sosua are best keep short and sweet (under 7 days)
When you find a great girl the time flies by but if you have bad experiences just a few days can feel like eternity
I find that folks that complain about a place, it's often because they themselves did not have a good time. Has nothing to do with the place. For instance. You can have a group of women go to a club together. The ones who danced and possibly met someone will report having a good time, while the women that sat on their ass, never danced and never interacted with anyone when approached will claim the place was lousy or boring.
Wild and Loose by The Time has a section in the song where some chicks are in the club digging on members of the group. They are having a great time, until they get get dissed by Morris Day. Then the girls quickly change their tune, call him a jerk and claim that was the worst concert they have ever been to. That's why I say. Where one stands on the issue usually depends on where they sit. Their POV will change depending on what they experienced. I'd guarantee, if that same type of individual met an unfortunate incident with a chica or the police, they would definitely blame their whole misfortune on Sosua.

The killing was the ending of an altercation that started at El Toros with some Canadian guys disrespecting a Dominican who went and got his friend. The friend bought his gun. The video is riveting as the guy with the gun is ambushed by a guy with a chair.
The other one is the girl who looks like "Halle Berry" walking in and pistol whipping a couple people before shooting and leaving. Anyone esnt to see the video, check back about 15 months in the gogo forum.
