A very efficient few hours in Bangkok
Sometimes it can be surprisingly efficient to get through BKK Suvarnabhmui Airport and into the action. This happened yesterday:
00:45 (am). My flight from Europe touched down on the runway a few minutes early due to tailwind. It arrived at gate D4 which is very close to immigration / passport control.
01:05 (am). Sitting in a metered taxi already. Immigration was quick with only two people in front of me. And of course I never check luggage.
01:40 (am). In my room at Grand Millenium on Sukhumvit Soi 21. The taxi ride was extremely quick, the only detour was when the taxi driver decided to get off the freeway early and drive along Thanon Phetchaburi before turning left onto Soi 21 / Asoke, he obviously wanted to gawk at all the streetwalkers along this rather dark stretch of road. And he kept pointing them out to me and saying "Lady Market! Lady Market!" and laughing. These gals probably cater mostly to locals, I would presume. Some were quite nice looking though.
01:50 (am). In Soi Cowboy after a very quick shower and change of clothes after having been travelling for 14 hours. Headed straight to Dollhouse go-go.
02:15 (am). After a beer and a lady drink for one of the girls in Dollhouse, the upstairs nude section, barfined her. 600 baht. I could probably have waited until the bar closed and saved the barfine, but I was eager to get things going. In fact, one of the reasons I was a bit stressed about hitting Soi Cowboy before 2 am was that I thought they might be closing at that time.
03:45 (am). Falling asleep after two rounds with a very nice girl. Slim, nicely done bolt-ons, very passionate, lots of fun.
Next morning (or later in the same day if you like) I headed to Soi 24 for a nice oily, but that's another story. At 2pm I headed to the airport again. It was a good way to spend 13 hours in Bangkok.
