Other than that Airport taxi price is always much higher than usual cost in any airport around (except Mactan, Cebu) the world. Even that, travelers prefer to take taxi from airport taxi stand for safety reason. If any one feel it is overpriced then they can arrive Airport Departure Level and can catch an incoming taxi dropping the outgoing passengers. Bargain or go for meter. Many times I ride taxi from Subarnobhum departure level for Pattaya in cost range 700 bht to 1000 bht. Never had any problem.
