Sosua Reports

Just got back in the states today and had a great second trip in Sosua. Much better than the first. My first trip I spent the first four days trying to nail everything that I liked looking at without looking for that chemistry that would turn any time spent with any girl that much better. Eventually I settled down and found something nice towards the end. This trip I started out slow and kept it that way until I, again, found something 'nice' at the end. Like I said in my earlier "brief trip report," I refused to take anything home the first night so I could feel things out. You guys know where this is going I'm sure. The guard and her go back and forth for a minute or two and she seems to be pleading and he seems to be caving. At this time I'm already thinking of everything I read on this board about how this is the biggest red-flag / no-go situation next to trying to buy a kilo of coke from a random motoconcho guy. What does my dumb ass do? I take her up anyway because she certainly looks 18 if not older I'm thinking. She sais the security guy said okay but wants a propina and I say okay. Before I go any further, I know some of you are already about to tear me a new asshole for this, and I deserve it. I don't think anyone should go down there and play Russian roulette but that is exactly what I did that night; I'm sure the alcohol was blurring my common sense. Later on I found out that she said her period started and that was why she didn't show up. Whatever. Maybe it was the truth, maybe not who cares. I never pursued it again. After I left Plan B, I went to D'latins and hoped to see the same talent I saw Wednesday night. There were a lot of chics there, but not the one I wanted that was from santiago I met the night before. I was rolling solo too and that place is just too damn much of a plastic, rush-rush, meat-market for me to hang solo in. This was my second time at this BBQ place, and it's pretty much the same people everyday, very family oriented like most DR places I assume. I meet her mom and the crew. I'm sure some people will say that these girls are pros at acting and I won't disagree. However there is a difference between tears and a sob story and flat out balling several times a day and night because I am leaving.

The situation is Sosua but with a little twist I started to figure out. Her mom is / was a hardcore puta chica who's days are in her past. She speaks decent English and taught her daughter. The mom was always checking up on her, popping up at the beach for a few minutes, knocking on the gate at Mary Rose; no doubt she was pushing for mucho dinero from me. However, imagine being 18 years old and having to deal with being pimped out by your mother when your emotions are running in 5th gear. I did my best to analyze the situation and have fun at the same time. Trust when I say I got way more than GFE from this girl, she even let me try.and I say try- to fuck her in the ass, something I joked about earlier and she said she wanted me to because it was my last night and she wanted to show her love for me. Holy shit, how can you say no to that LOL. Anyway, even though she was in pain, and I went real slow. I'm about a little thicker than a regular sized redbull can but in a culo her size. I won't lie, I felt something for her, or maybe it was the situation that she was in that got to me. Of course I payed for everything when we went out, and even bought her mother and some people at her restaurant some beers here and there. They weren't shy in asking at all [give blood and a lot of dominicans want bone. ] But I did give her 4000 pesos on my way out my last morning. She looked at me like what is this and I told her I know she needs it. The girl was collecting her stuff as I was packing and even took the toilet paper to put in her things. That sais something right there. She rode along with me to the airport with Rick's brother-in-law Johnny who took us; she was balling the entire way. I cried a little just because of her pain and I also didn't want to leave the DR. As of this moment, she has messaged me consistently on FB and even called me on her own minutes. Of course she has also mentioned getting a brides visa. Ouch. I wish her the best of luck but I don't intend on becoming a western union BF or getting married to an infatuated 18 year old no matter how wild her emotions are. I do feel bad for giving her hope though. I hope all goes well with her.

Okay, to sum things up I'll try and just get to the basics in this part of the report.

Playa Sosua: Sundays suck there cause it's family day and it's packed beyond belief and the local Dominicans come from all over just to trash the beach up without a care in the world. It's still ten time better than Cabarete though. Clear blue water, chicas are there, they'll play with your junk under the water, the sunsets are to die for [pics prove it. ]. The vendors are still there. Rick said they're are trying to work a deal somehow on getting payed to be forced out. Dunno. Oh, there was this little shithead guy from Boca Chica that spoke perfect English; young twenties with curly hair and a pot belly wearing underwear. All he does is cruise the beach looking to scam tourists by saying he'll introduce you to a nice girl that doesn't want money, just take care of him for meeting you guys up [1000 pesos taking care of him LOL. ] I told him I can find my own girls. Next day saw him again and later saw him trying to scam some dudes I met a few days back. The "non-pro" girls he was introducing to my friends were in-fact pros and he even got mad when my friend asked one of the girls how much. His scam is you give him money and take the girl back and fuck her. She'll then ask for about double what she'd normally get cause you never settled an agreement. The place most notorious for scams in the DR, and what I already mentioned above. After that, his ass beat-feet. You can't miss this guy and if you see him, call him on his shit so he goes elsewhere.

A little Spanish goes a long way. This trip was ten times what last one was because I could speak and understand some of the basics. Once fluent, I would never go to Sosua again. I'd visit the real DR and rent a car traveling the whole country.

My friend that I mentioned in "Brief trip report," the broke guy, he ended up hitting up his baby-momma for some cash LOL. Ran in to him a few days later and he said all was good.

I'll touch on the race issue briefly since it was of recent discussion...again LOL. This time most of the guys I met on this trip were black [I'm white, ] and just cool dudes that knew the game and were fun to hang with. I met a lot of good people of all ages and types hanging out at Rocky's [ate breakfast there everyday and chilled sometimes in the late afternoon. ] In fact, everyone I met on this trip was trying to keep the hustle to 1500 ST and 2000 TLN. I only saw one group of tourist assholes and they were a bunch of white guys at The Spot [I think that is the name-next to El Toro, ] and these guys were asking for trouble; inconsiderate, loud, all had their shirts off, drunk, rude, absolute douches.

Mary Rose: I'll try to say what hasn't been said or is advertised on the website. For one, the grounds are kept well. Pool is cleaned daily. There is direct TV with lots of English channels. Laundry service is available for 300 pesos; they'll wash, fold and return in the same day. Rick has free phones for guests to use. Just give him a 1500 peso deposit and you get a phone to use, all you have to do now is buy the minutes [highly recommended btw to get a phone,] return it and get your deposit back. Everyone I met there at MR loved it and didn't complain about it not being right on the strip. One dude said it best, "you're on vacation, chill the fuck out," and have the chica come to you or moto her ass with oyu on the back for 100 pesos, no biggie. BTW, I found staying here, like Chris Long said, has its perks. You living where the locals live, there's no crime, just chicas during the day and some family hook-ups are even possible. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat, in fact, i will if there's room.

All in all, it was a great trip. I'll definitely be back. Sosua may not be what it was ten years ago, or the vets may not like it today, but there is still a great time to be had there and for us newbies it is still a Godsend from the United States. As long as you obey the rules. I'll be sure to try and follow them better next time.

Wow finally somebody wrote a trip report. You are one wild crazy dude. Sign me up to be your wingman. You really know how to have a good time. It is very clear you know how to have a good time. Some observations from my 2nd visit.

New garden was much busier, but far from crazy or noisy. Those 2 little dogs barking was the only noise. Not a ton of young guys, and there were quiet. Still very few girls there, and even less worth looking at. Old wing room was fine.

Dlatins is where you find the hotties. The later the better. Can't believe how crowded it must get during the busy season. Funny watching some girls sit off to the side. No interaction with guys, not the hotties, and no action. Some bottom feeders are more aggressive and at least have a chance of snagging a customer.

I, again, used the change guy in the booth just down from ng. Rate was 41.

Have yet to use the v from latinos market, but definitely a great price at 96 for 975. Using only 25 mg a pop, I'm good for a while, or very busy, LOL.

Dr girls need less babies and more time in the gym. How can the heavy ones walk around all day, not have food money, and still be heavy?

Coming home through mia was great. Immigration was empty. Got a chatty customs guy, but not about my bags, etc. New security re screening a breeze. Now, too much time before next flight. No free internet at mia.

Still need work on my days. Too quiet. Was going to try passions for days, but not a current option.

When it came time to talk money, I would ask the girl how much. If she threw it back to me start low. Its just like a car dealer. Some will ask a high price, just to see what they can get. Try to stay with safe stuff. Probably safer than some mongering practices. Cheap food is usually fat food.

9 at dlatins is slow, and bottom feeders. Hotter girls are still next door. You think they are hott, till 11 at dlatins. As the night goes on, they get even better.

And the reason they are so fat is that diet. I thought I would eat the DR food to save money and delve into the culture. But they put lard in everything. Even the bean mixture that they put in the beans and rice is thick with added fat and so heavy that I could use it as a paperweight.
