For those entering the country, how is the beer situation. I read they started up production again, but I don't know about distributions. Are they available in OXXO or markets?

The World is not ready for a major epidemic, and I'm classifying Covid as a moderate epidemic at the most. Though the response was major and the economic & social fallout could be pretty significant. I.
The data for significant illness is under 2% now and the death rate is probably 1% or slightly lower worlwide. Though the numbers were quite a bit higher for people that got hit earlier on.
The scale from severe illness & death is nothing close to the 1918 flu or the plagues of middle ages Europe. If a really severe disease becomes widespread the entire global economy will collapse. I am talking 90%+ unemployment, massive crime, starvation and generally mass chaos.
You will need to move to some remote tropical location where you can put pick fruit from native plants or get a bunker or remote "in the woods" outpost and stock up on years worth of food & supplies. You should max out all your credit cards at this time and from now until then try to get as much credit and money resources as possible. No need to worry about repayment of credit score impact as the entire financial system will have collapsed. There would probably be a new currency anyway and all the Financial systems would have to restart from 0.
People are doing so much damage to their bodies with obesity from years of bad diet, smoking, drugs. Both illegal and legal and generally way too much stress. The death rate would be 0. 1% if people kept themselves healthy.
The massive overreaction and halfass measures have let me realize you will need to live off grid whenever the major one hits.
Did you guys see the news that the you. S extended the travel restriction with Mexico until July 21?
Does that mean one cannot cross the border from San Diego to Tijuana? Does the border patrol agents take that seriously?
A USA Citizen or permanent resident can still easily cross both ways with minimal hassle. Not much different than before. Getting back into the USA Is no issue at all. Going into Mexico can potentially be an issue, but likely not. Driving into Tijuana is less hassle as the chances of you being recognized as a gringo and questioned is exponentially less than walking in where you are automatically stopped and questioned and asked for you documents. Just tell them you're going to the dentist and you should be fine.
For those entering the country, how is the beer situation. I read they started up production again, but I don't know about distributions. Are they available in OXXO or markets?
There is still almost no beer to be found. There are a handful of independent liquor stores that offer beer at inflated prices, usually about $400 mx for a 12 pack. People are selling beer on Facebook Marketplace, although I would imagine selling alcohol violates the terms of use. Ads usually don't contain the word "cervesa" which is likely a term that will raise a flag. They just put up a pic of a 12 pack on their ad and don't write a description. Prices again are in the $400 mx range for a 12 pack. Before the crisis, I used to buy 12 packs of Bud Light at Ley for $92 mx and Calimax / Soriana for around $110 mx. Some major retailers like Calimax and 711 get in sporadic shipments of beer, and when they do people share with their friends on social media the location, which causes people to flock to that particular store and empty out the shelves pretty quick.
The legal limit to import into Mexico is 6 liters, which is about 17 beers. Whenever I cross, I usually bring a 30 or 36 pack with me. So far I haven't been stopped. An effective strategy for passing the motorist line without getting stopped is to find another vehicle crossing that is large like a van, large SUV, pickup truck with a full payload or even a normal vehicle that is packed to the brim or weighed down. Then get near it as you approach the inspection area, either behind, in front, or next to. The chances of you getting stopped diminish dramatically if you cross in close proximity to a "juicy" vehicle.
Saw all kinds of beers in OXXO's fridge in the alley last week.

The streets in ny and its suburbs have turned into a Mardi gras. Many were shut down so cars can't interfere with the drinking. Theres thousands out here drinking tonight. I'm in the suburbs too. I believe this is Tijuanas future. Close down revolution and the alley and the street in front of hk. Put the music outside, the church next to hk god bless them. Have the woman all prancing around outside, put some stripper poles outside. Hey it works in Mardi gras, the streets are more fun than the bars in new orleans. Make it happen already before I have to get a girlfriend I cannot do this a other 3 to 16 months.
Dodger,
I love NY. I am all for partying in the streets unless it rains, snows or gets too hot!
Street parties, street sex too?
For those entering the country, how is the beer situation. I read they started up production again, but I don't know about distributions. Are they available in OXXO or markets?
I was there on Monday. I could find no beer at an OXXO and a 7-11 in Otay. We finally went to El Florido and bought a bottle of wine. So, beer availability will be hit and miss. I have been bringing my own since the production ban, but I thought the problems were over. Apparently not.
I was craving Auntie Anne's pretzels last night so I popped down to San Ysidro outlet mall as the pretzel place is opened again. I was so close to the girls of Zona Norte. At that last exit before turning off I was thinking. What if my car just veered off and missed the exit. Ended up in Tijuana.
From the outlet mall I could almost smell the sweet pussies of the street girls. I could hear them calling me "Baby." I could hear them saying "Ochenta."
The frickin memories from that place are seared in my head like no other recent memory.
I forgot how many San Ysidro businesses depend on the people crossing etc. The mall was dead. Parking lots very empty. No traffic driving down on 805.
Crazy times.
I think the girls should start doing pole dancing on the top of Cascadas! We could see it from the border. Ok lame but just dreaming.
Goyo.

Goyo.
I used to go to the outlet malls just to look at the woman before I went to Tijuana. The girls working at Hollister blow the hk woman out of the water. I would of still gone to the zona if I was at the outlet. I get why you didn't though right now you'd stick out like a sore thumb. The good old days. I think its gona. BE years till any normalcy returns.
I was planning on visiting Tijuana this Tuesday for a few days and was wondering if it is safe to go at this time or just a bonehead plan. I was planning on parking and walking through the border with my suitcase full of Mexican beer LOL and then catching a cab to Hong Kong. If anyone could toss me a few numbers of some girls it would be awesome, preferably ones that are OK with BBBJ and DATY. I'll also be in San Diego for the week and checking out the local escorts there, if is anyone that have some numbers for some good affordable San Diego escorts please message them to me. I would not be interested in any for over $200 per hour.
I'll upload a report when I return from Tijuana.
Okay, as I mentioned in one of my previous reports, I know an American girl who lives in Rosarito. I asked her to gather intelligence on the subject opening. Her surveillance only involved Rosarito. Her report is as follows. In Rosarito you can open your bar if you pay the authorities $1,000 American dollars. A bar called LOS Amigos in Rosarito did just that and has opened. She went there "undercover" on Thursday night and they had a band. She said the bar stools were removed and you needed a mask to get in but then you can take it off once your seated. It sounds to me like they are shadowing San Diego policy with the exception of the money to open. When I asked her about Tijuana she said she believed they would have their own policy because of a different mayor. I do not feel this operative can provide anymore input for us so I thanked her and told her cease any future surveillance.

So what your saying is that getting a room and banging street girls in Tijuana right now would not work very well. I know the bars are closed and would just be interested in banging some Mexicanas in my room at the Hong Kong. $250 and up is why I usually monger in Colombia, Costa Rica or Mexico. I would think there would be some passable escorts doing a half hour for $150-$175 during these hard times.

I don't think many people care about prices in San Diego. Even with my limited experience in Tijuana. I can read back a few pages and guess that the poster you replied to could probably get some good pussy for under his 200 limit.
