I had a chance to go to Habanos and the Venteo Casino to find some ladies.
Both were ok.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
I read about Miramar Bar in the Inner Cont hotel.
I like a bar setting, like Habanos or The Blue Marlin type of bar.
Any others like this?
I read about the Golden Times? I think I read it was a MP. Is it?
I really don't like MP or strip clubs.
Let me know if anyone has any other suggestions. I am coming down next month.

Just like you said, the laws are there, but they only come into effect when someone can pay to activate it or cant pay to deactivate it. But if someone starts to complain, belive me that they will close the club, specially the local public that attends mass at that church, since that church congregates some of the high class people type.
Also for the hotel questions, look down here in my posts, there is a link to all the hotels available in Panama and in the provinces, created by the tourism ministry

I beg you pardon! I dont deny that there is corruption, but like other members have posted, look at the US(no to make offense to us citizens), not ALL us citizens are corrupt which is why I get angry whenever some speaks ill about Panama(who doesnt gets angry about that).
If you're going to speak like that, you have to be very specifif, for your enlightment, try writting the government is corrupt, and I will surely back you up since Ive been living here all my life

Thanks for your help.[/QUOTE]As you said, Golden Times is a massage parlor. However, the talent is awesome. Many of them will leave the premises, but be ready to dish out 300.00.
If you talk to any taxi driver they might have suggestions on many of out of the way, cheaper casas.
Here’s an update on three places.
Cotton Club
I had read about the Cotton Club on the board, but no one had been there. $25 cover. Crazy. I was able to talk my way in for a tour on the pretense of planning a major corporate event there. Asked a lot of questions talked a good game, but they wouldn't let me stay. Not that I would have wanted to. This place is outrageous It located right on Via Espana down the strip from McDonalds, kind of below the El Panama Hotel.
I have had a chance to visit a lot of the upscale strip clubs around the U.S and this could easily fit in in Texas or Vegas. The capital costs alone must have been significant. Everything is white inside. The first floor is the main strip club area with a VIP area that is wide open. Reminds me of the Cristal Moon. The real problem with the rest of the place is that everything else is a la carte. They have a shower show room which is an additional $25. Upstairs there are all sorts of different rooms with additional costs. There are very private booths for private dances as well. The real kicker is the sushi room They have a rotating table which a girl lays on nude. They place the sushi on her and you pick it off. Not sure what the price is to partake here. Each of the other rooms has a fee and you have to bring the girl with you. So you meet them downstairs and then they take you upstairs to spend more money. I could see a guy easily spending $200 on fees and tips, not including drinks. To take a girl out costs %100 for the bar and $250 for the girl.
The girls here were not that great. Actually a lot of pretty heavy asses. My guess is that if the place takes off you will see a lot of girls migrating here. Right now they had to do some second tier recruiting. The girls are no way near as hot as Le Palace. It will be interesting to se if this place can generate enough business to cover costs. I went in pretty early on a Tuesday so I wasn't expecting much of a crowd.
Gaunt Man or other locals – You might be able to get a better idea on the a la carte pricing. My Spanish was not good enough to understand everything being said.
Club Midnight
As previously reported, this place has reopened after their immigration problems. They have relocated the club to the top floor of the building in a remodeled area. Nice intimate strip club setting. They still have the same drink/dance/entrance specials for $10. They are advertised on large banners outside of the club. Girls drinks are $10. There are enclosed rooms for private dances, but I am not sure of the pricing. Take out for the girls is $125 for the bar and $200 for the girls. They promise that is for TLN. I am not sure if any onsite rooms remain for sex. The girls said no but one of the waiters said yes. Obviously the girls want to sell the take out. The place closes at 5 AM so if you go late and the girl has not been taken she will come see you at your hotel after work. Negotiate this independently.
I went on Tuesday after my visit to Cotton Club. I was surprised by the crowd. It was pretty good. They also play a lot of American music for the girls to dance to. There is no down time on the stage. Girls are dancing every song. The real problem right now is the quality of the girls. Most of the girls topped out at a 7. They were all Panamanian. The Colombianas have still not returned. The visa issue is still not resolved. They told me they were due back next month. Back in the Life Girls day this place was loaded with chicas from Pereira. They need to get back to this.
I would still recommend checking this place out. For $10 you get a couple of drinks and a lap dance. Go early. If the quality of the chicas haven’t changed you can move on.
La Bodeguita
Just a quick update. This place still rocks every night after 11. I have been here on several different nights recently, both with my novia and alone. There are always a lot of 8’s and 9’s in the crowd. But remember this is a party atmosphere. Be prepared to drink and dance to get in with the girl of your dreams. Most are here to have fun and hopefully make some money. I watched a 65+ gringo take out an absolute stunner after sharing some drinks and awfully bad dancing with her. But she looked like she was having fun and I am sure he had fun later.
If you want a quiet setting and a quick pick up for independents go to Veneto or Habanos. If you want to make a night of it, go to Bodeguita.

A couple of weekends ago I hosted a gringo pal of mine. Not much of a world traveler, we had been discussing the concept of pay-for-play in advance of his visit. He was all moral about it even to the point of mocking and contempt. Well, after getting settled at my pad for a couple of drinks, we set out for Calle Uruguay to take in the sites on a Saturday night.
Without much coaxing, we entered La Bodeguita around midnight. I was very, very impressed. In my previous trips there, it seemed like you had to look hard to find the pros. This night, I would have thought I was in the Blue Marlin, with plenty of hard body colombianas to go around and if there were any regular gals there, I didn’t notice them. Tables full skantily clad hotties, each one eyeing the passing men longingly.
I figured we'the just look around for a few beers and leave. Because he knew no spanish, I wasn't interested in translating for him anyway.
Well, even before our first beers arrived, a pair of ladies looking for action (or smelling blood) walked by and batted their eyes at my obvious newbie pal. It was amazing to watch his previous pious attitude evaporate in a nanosecond, as he was on one like white on rice, almost drooling. It was great luck, as she spoke great english, and in fact was a light-skinned panameña. Within 10 minutes of us two walking in, the four of us were walking out. Amazing is the power of easy poontang. Another gringo corrupted, but a satisfied customer of La Bodeguita.
