General thoughts
Apologies in advance for not consolidating everything into one post. I had typed it all up but then the copy/pasting to the forum caused some problems for me.
Anyway, my general thoughts on Cartagena is that the best looking girls for me were from Medellin anyway so might as well go right to the source. The beach doesn't compare to Rio or Cancun and the lack of infrastructure is a turn off for me.
I don't think there's any reason to worry that Cartagena would become too popular like Costa Rica and be ruined. Cartagena is not ready for prime time and IMO, won't for at least a few more years.
Personally for me, I didn't feel bad for not hitting LDV. I didn't think too much of Help at Rio anyway so I don't think it was a big lost. I did have a lot of fun in Cartagena but I don't think I will return. Even if I do, it'd only be for 1 or max of 2 nights only w/ friends that insist on seeing all of Colombia.
For the beach life, I'd go straight to Rio. I also like the setup in Rio much better with standard BBBJ and numerous Termas. And strangely enough, I felt safer in Rio than in Cartagena which is really odd since just a year ago I thought Rio was too dangerous to go.
All in all, had a great time in Cartagena and started to like it despite intially being turned off by it.
These are just my personal thoughts and I know different places work for different people. It's all about finding the right place for yourself. Rio suits me a little better than Cartagena.

If you do not speak spanish or are just there for a quick trip once a year you will probably not meet them.
They are not the girls that come on to you and go to short time hotels.
The guys that live there know a lot and can really help, but even they do not know everything that goes on. Its a big country with large cities y campos. Trust your instinct. Take what you need then make your own decisions.
Do not believe everything you read. Guys bs as much as pros, semi-pros,non-pros bs.
CTG pros. To much work to get a good return. CTG locals..much much better return. I thought cali was much better but my balls are not big enough to live there. I only went with someone i knew lived there
Mr Blue. Good report. No BS. No crap about being in a hooker bar and having hookers and non-pros wanting to be with you because your so cute and cool and good looking. GRINGO = $$. You can change the price and service but the bottom line is always the same. Thank goodness its a mans world.
Enough of my BS. This site wants pics + prices. No mas hasta yo tengo.

Have I been not clear?
Sorry, I feel the need to add some more words.
I thinkj I've been misunderstood.
Gringo = $$.
>A good colombian girl from a good family will NEVER go to a short time hotel. >170K + 15K + 15k + drinks + food. Over US $100 for short time = PRO
>The only NON PRO in LDV. Of course, she said so.
Gringo = $$.
Did I say she was NON PRO?
I said "Apparently non pro"!
I meant that she's exactly the kind of girl I like to meet. Not sleazy, cute, educated, not hunting for men in the bar.
Actually, she's the sister of a well seasoned pro working in LDV for a long time. She joined her for need of money. What a difference!
Gringo = $$.
Enjoy the vacation but also know things for what they really are.
Gringo = $$.
Thank you.
I am well seasoned monger. I know things a bit.
In summary, the sake of my report:
- avoid LDV
- go to the beach at dady time
- try Jaiva.
Best regards to all!

Mr. Blue
"It flooded AGAIN. Everyone said on the first day we got here that the streets were flooded b/c of some once in 10 year type of event but that was total bullshit."
This was not bullshit. There was a storm out in the Caribbean that raised the level of the sea and churned up some very big waves. In the 4 years I have lived here, I had never seen the sea this high or angry.
Your observations here are just as skewed as the rest of your report reads, but thanks for sharing your opinions.
This place is not for everyone.

In defense of pros.
A couple of recent posts seem to disparage the prepago. I am here to tell you that the hard-core ***** is far from the norm in CTG. Many of the girls I bang have been in the business for a long time. The vast majority of them are sweethearts. I cannot blame them for trying to get what they can for their services.
Of course I treat them all well and with respect. And I do not over pay-generally 60k for ST.
And not all non-pros are sweet. Life is hard here, and it is cheap. You have to do what you have to do to get by.

Angie- From LDV???
Is this the Angie from LDV, blond from Bucaramonga that got married? My god I wonder if that is the case, if the gringo knew how many nuts Angie had cracked in her storied career? She has seen more cock, than all of the stadium urinals combined at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. She was good in the sack though....

She was a fixture in LDV although she told me she was from Bogota.Yes she was a blonde spinner with a smoking body who was all time in the cama.I never saw her in LDV in November so I asked a local and he said "Angie marry gringo" ....guess he was hypnotized by her charms!!!!

Angie from LDV
If this is the cute blond, slim legs, who smokes, and worked at LDV all the time,
I received a call from ******* the husband of Angie about a month ago asking me about annulment/divorce. He moved back to the US and told me it was over. Definitely.
I do not want to speak for him, but I would expect that she would be back at work again at the LDV.
