Thailand very well may be a better mongering destination but I won't know until I've tried both. An 8 hour flight and being in the same time zone is also a bonus for me. Also, I love Latina girls so I'm hoping it'll be easier to find them in Tijuana than Thailand.

Your biggest concern, with tijuana, is remembering, it's the most dangerous city in the world, #2-your not exactly in the good or safe part of Tijuana when in zona norte #3-even before lockdown, people had no problem choking tourists out for 20 bucks in crowded street. And the general vibe, in zona norte, is not "happy" "party" like thailand, but rather somber, economic hardship near poverty, . And not just from covid. Before covid even with zona norte problems at least Hong Kong, and Chicago and adelitas were upbeat, fun vibe places. But now you won't have that. It won't be the same experience that you could of had 6 months ago.

As you know, all bars, restaurants and strip clubs in Tijuana are shut down. Tijuana is not as much fun as before, but the rest of the mongering world is also shut down. So you just have to make the best of what is available in this pandemic.

Tijuana clubs have set up clandestine lounges in their hotels with girls where you can pick your companies, have drinks and bullshit with them, then decide if you want to take them to a room. Due to travel restrictions, I only went to La Zona in the day time and found the quantities and qualities of girls in lounges disappointing, but guys have reported 40 girls working in HK at night, so you may have better selections at night.

If you decide to take the girls to the rooms, just refuse to buy the beers bucket bar fines for them as suggested by the meseros. That's bullshit. The meseros will try to screw newbies with their bucket requirement BS and the girls are in on it as they get the fichas for the beers bought.

The street scene has been lively. I was in La Zona afternoon Sat July 4. About 150 girls were hanging out on the streets, lots of spinners, some very hot, including a handful of girls who had been working in HK pre CoVid. Most were not wearing face masks. If they do, you can politely ask them to take the masks down for a face chat.

Horse is high for Thailand but I was there in 2019 and paid a premium to book the hottest Smooci escort, who looked nice, cute, youthful in pictures. It all depends on what service level you want, and how much of the fabled "GFE" you expect. Thailand tends to have that in spades, although it is on the wane. It's much harder to find in Tijuana because the scene isn't oriented to that, it's oriented to the wham-bam-let's-get-out-of-town mindset. If you're going for bar girls, know that the typical session is 30 minutes and they will try to squeeze $100 out of a newbie. A few bad ass Policia will try to scare people into giving them some money. I would not give them any. Just be calm and cool with them. Take down their car numbers and all info and tell them you will report them to Internal Affairs. Deny you have been drinking or carrying drugs and refuse to get into their car. Tell them to call in their sergeants and you want to go to the station to see the judge. They would waste their time and have to let you go.

One time I went past a stop sign on Coahuila and policiia saw it. They stopped me, searched my wallet. Their sergeant showed up, total 3 cars, 6 pigs. I was trying to give the sergeant a 100 peso note to let me go, but he would not take it. He left it up to the 2 original pigs. They kept telling me I clearly crossed the stop sign and the fine was something like 1,000 pesos. After 10 minutes of haggling, the bros my my car was getting hungry for the AYCE Churrascaria do Brazil, so I gave a guy a 100 pesos. He was groaning that I was cheap. I gave the other guy another 100 pesos note. They let me go, laughing, even stopped traffic so we could pull out.

Just keep a few 100-peso notes in your pocket and deal them out slowly if hassled by hungry cops hehe.

Can someone give me some info on this, please?

How much does it cost (pay in $ or Pesos)?

Hours of operation?

Is it really legal or is someone running some kind of shady deal to make an extra buck?

Just go to your nearest major Canadian city, if you want safe mongering with plenty of GFE. The service level is consistently good and it's a first world English speaking country. Of course you won't find the bargain basement prices of the Zone alley there, but it's worth it. Of course, it's not an option for those of us stuck in the US right now, due to Covid border closures. But it won't be forever.
