The above is for HIV-1 though (western country's trace).

Asian region has HIV-2 which has double the chance of infection but still very feeble chance.

So circumsision prevents HIV by 60. (Reason being, the foreskin provides a warm / wet inner layer which prolongs life of HIV which otherwise dies once out of body)

I read all the above before venturing into the unknown.

If you are circumcised and have rubber, your chances of getting affected is 0. 5/1000 * 60/100 * 95/100 which is a very very low number compared to the probailty that you will die tomorrow in accident.

@rbhatia. I am surprised how a doctor from Apollo can advice you something which is not foolproof. No research has So far said you can avoid any DDF with foreskin or without it. It's always better to trust the rubber then these reports. I spent horrible one year before my test came negative. It's the most hardest time of my life.
