Hi all.
I was in Panama 1 year ago, for 3 nights. I feel guilty, since I did not post my report. I delayed, delayed, delayed it, until I realized that it was not useful anymore to post non-fresh information.
In brief, I believe that all reports in this thread are too biased towards expensive clubs in the business district (i.e., those around Veneto). We read endless reports about these places, which more or less always repeat similar experiences and amazing high prices.
Panama City has much more to offer, if we are not lazy and look around.
A summary of my 1-year old experience:
- The best girls I saw: in La Bodeguita (I hope I am not confusing the name), many stunning Colombianas dancing and having fun mixed with lots of local guys and girls who are there to drink and listen to music. There, I met a girl that I still feel to "love"! I will never forget that sweet stunning 20yo Colombiana from Medellin (Paola), with a "machine" (sorry my English lexicon is poor) on the theet (150 USD for 2 hours, BBBJ, CIM, GFE,...), but sexy as hell on her high "tacones" and in her night dress. Beware! the taxi drivers in front of La Bodeguita spot the rich tourist and want to take you to the ugly hotel that pays them a fee. There, I was charged 20 USD for the room (I forgot the name, but it is the same cheaper hotel where many go, nominated here many times, 10 minutes by taxi towards the centre, close to a cheap casino for local customers). When I asked to go to another cheaper place I knew (see item below), I was "threatened" with smooth words like "Panama can be dangerous, we know how to protect tourists, this is a safe place, the other hotel you want maybe is in a dangerous area", etc. I could not move from there. No taxies accepted to take me away from there. Finally I said to the taxi driver: "At least, stop calling me amigo..." (in Spanish)
- The small alley almost in front of Veneto always had 1-2-3 hookers walking around, different every night. Quality ranging from drug-addicted to 8. When I saw this 8, I was lucky enough to not waste time and settle the meeting. 80 (100? I do not remember) USD for a cpl of hours. She was local Panamenian 19yo. GFE! (I cannot forget the "...doname el tu leche...!!"). She brought me by taxy to a small hotel exactly in front of the hospital, 10 mins by taxi towards the centre, clean, safe, where I paid only 10 USD for the room. Do your best to find this hotel. This is the place where I wanted to go with Paula.
- Going around the city by car, I noted MANY SWs along roads, not far from the center, but too far (and dangerous) to reach on foot. They looked very good, and surely cheapest, compared to the "gringo-oriented" prices for chicas in Veneto. If anybody who reads this is brave enough to rent a car and speaks Spanish, this is something to try. I did not, since I was accompanied by work colleagues in the car and I did not want to rent a car (I was there only 3 nights).
To conclude, anybody of you would provide some updated information about independents, semi non-pro, street action, etc, something a bit more off-track than usual reports about Elite, etc.?
I would be very grateful.
I am going back to Panama in a couple of months.
I hope that somebody more experienced than me (in Panama ;-)) will be so kind to help.

Day 1 - Rodeo's Totally Fucking Awesome Trip to Panama City!!
So, I got here Sunday. It was raining. One of the airport workers said it will be raining for at least the next 10 days according to the news, the bus driver who took me to the hotel said the same thing and so did the receptionist who checked me in! Oh well, looks like the chicas won't be the only ones getting wet.
Anyway, so, I'm staying at the Veneto (due mostly to recommendations on the traffic in Veneto's casino) and conducting business at El Panama (casino is kind of out of the way of the main part of the hotel). Now, I could start doing MY thing. I started off by going to Midnight's Strip Club (formerly Life Girls). Cover $10 for 2 drinks, 1 lap dance. About 15 girls inside about 1/2 Panamanians, 1/2 other. Day 2 - Rodeo's Most Excellent Fucking Trip to Panama City

Day 3 - Rodeo's Most Excellent Fucking Trip to Panama City
Now, I’ve been here 3 days and still haven’t eaten at what I would call a great restaurant. Semi-fucked for my Panama trip
Okay, so, I'm here for work really, right? Well, these fuckers now want me to work the night shift! WTF is up with that? ! I'm so pissed. Luckily, my boss that came down with me is not really keen on that idea so, he's cutting me some slack. I should be able to continue mongering, but, drinking may present a problem. Also, adjusting my sleep schedule will be difficult, but, I think everything will be doable. Really, there's nothing to do (work-wise) at night, but they want someone there.
