i suggest that you request him about sending the money via western union or a bank draft.

western unions branches are almost in all major cities in the world. you just go to the western union and send the money for the membership. you can use your (i presume) indian rupees. mr jackson will receive the money in the local currency where he lives. once the money is received, he will activate your membership.

alternately, you go to a bank and make bank draft in usd. before doing this, you need to ask mr jackson on whose name it is to be issued and where it should payble at. then accordingly get the draft made and send it by courier to mr jackson, at the address prescribed by him. you can make a draft in usd by paying in indian rupees to the bank. its such a small sum that no one will bother about the reasons on why you want the draft.

in both the cases, the membership will end up costing higher. since western union will put a surcharge. while in bank draft, you will end up paying bank fees and also the courier charges.

i suggest that it would be prudent to have a credit card these days. their are many banks in india offering free credit cards (that is no joining or annual fees). regarding misuse of cards, you can set up a upper credit limit and this way you always remain in safe zone on how much you can afford to loose in case of a misuse.

People are booking movie tickets online and I was surprised to see in Mumbai that 68% airline ticket booking are made online for which the newspapers are claiming that the percentage is highest in world. Trust your condition is improving. Hope it is not serious as the doctor said. Many of the STDs take some time to surface. Some thing happening while the act is on is very rare (I have never heard this before). Other possibility is a previous exposure that has surfaced now.
