I've never been to Brazil but I'm planning a trip and have been reading the Rio and San Paulo forums along with General info and places to stay. Most of the information I'm looking for I have found but I still have about 100 pages left until I catch up to the current times! My questions are pretty general and I was wondering about the clothing thing. I'm a shorts guy and hate wearing jeans. While the nicer establishments like Scandallo require a nice shirt and a pair of jeans how about some of the clinicas? Will I stick out like a sore thumb wearing shorts just walking around town? I'm always hot and unless it's below 40 degreesF, I'm good.

My other question is about tips. Now I recall reading on here that tips are not part of the culture in Brazil and that tipping a girl is not required. Do you guys ever tip at restaurants or normal bars for GREAT service? If so what's a normal rate?

My plan is to visit some of the places mentioned on here and dive right in! For me, there's always a certain amount of uncertainty when mongering to new destinations but I'm in love with Brazilian women and I need to check this place out!

Some will ask you if you want service charge included. You can decline. There is a discussion about tipping at Bombia too.

I don't think there is a dress code requirement at clinicas. I wear shorts all the time, and never have a problem. Some customers may go to clinica during break or after work, then they may be more formal. If one observes that, then one would think that is how a customer should dress.

He asked me for a tip when I checked out to leave. I was paying the girl and he came over and asked if I could give him a tip as well. I did. It was no big deal. I never tipped anywhere else in Brazil except for the Uber drivers.

There many cost levels in this mega city and quite a few establishment that would rival the costs in the USA. Many rich Brazilians willing these prices and a lot more. Search for pink sheet girls.

Sometimes there is a grey area in quality issue which is created mainly because there is no line up in the high price boutique clinicas, only phot shopped pics from which to make a decision, so not all the high end boutique girls that I end up in bed with are the equal to tier 1 or tier 2 Scandallo types and sometimes I have a girl at these boutique casas that is no better in the looks department than a slightly above average girl at Prime or Abboboro, but sometimes I hook up with a real looker and a keeper. That is the gamble when I go to these high-end casas. And the reverse is true as well. Sometimes I have gotten lucky and met a regular clinica girl that is as good as, as attractive as most Bomboa girls and I wonder why she is working in a regular clinica fucking maybe 5 guys a day and getting only 200 BR per session. I don't know.

But I like both types of clinicas and the boates. That is the choice part of the equation. Here is a rough breakdown of the situation: Abboboro, my favorite regular place is 360 BR on the credit card of which the girl gets 200 BR. I believe it is the most expensive of the regular clinicas. I like it because I can usually find a girl that looks doable to very pretty and the sex is ALWAYS real damn good. I have had some wild times in Abboboro and Prime that's for sure.

The Palms, Taj Mahal, Sharon, & Lotus make up the high-end boutique clinicas. The full price is 640 BR (Sharon & TAJ) and up to 750 BR (the Palms) on the credit card of which a Palm girl gets 350 BR. Don't ask me to identify my 2 favorite Palm girls because I won't. KKK. I put in the leg work and made the $$ investments, won some and lost some, KKK, so I will not share my hard-earned results except to say my 2 favorite Palm girls are top caliber in looks and performance and they could easily pull in 700 BR or 800 BR maybe more per session in Scandallo.

So, for me the most important question of the morning after I enjoy my coffee, juice, and breakfast at my hotel buffet is; do I feel like getting it on in the early afternoon or do I want to wait until 9:30 pm. [/QUOTE]Another bonus of the high end clinicas is that it's a little easier to see who will be there by their websites, decide if one particular person is a fit for your tastes, and make an appointment a day in advance via WhatsApp (with the caveat that the appointments will fall through at least 25% of the time). Also early appointments (10 or 11 am even) are possible if you're morning oriented, whereas the other clinicas don't really get going until around 1 or 2. After much time in SP one can get particular about a type so it's a little more of a sure thing to work in advance, instead of waiting for the day of WhatsApp updates of the other Clinicas. That said the surprises at Boates and clinicas with lots of new people, like Tangara, can also be super fun.
