As for the other incidents I have not seen anything like this. I can imagine that things might get crazy after midnight. This one reason why I usually leave by 10 pm.

I had some plans in So Cal fall through recently and decided to head south to Tijuana. I had not been to HK in several years and read through the posts on this forum to catch me up. Before I give my review, I'd like to address a few things that have been posted in recent days.
HK Closing. I got it from a somewhat reliable source that an American died of a drug overdose while staying at Cascada. Investigators were looking for video from inside the club and the hotel to rule out foul play. I do not get the need to shut the club down on a Thursday night for this, but that is the story I got. That same night, there was a fire at Chicago. Coincidence? Who knows, but does anyone think these buildings are properly wired and are not at risk of fire?
Safety. I found no issues with safety especially if you stay inside the club. If walking, you cross the border and walk for 30 seconds before you are in their limo / truck thing and getting dropped in front of the club. As you step out of the vehicle, there is a ton of security in front of the club. Everyone goes through a metal detector and pat down before entering. If you do not dress flashy or wear flashy jewelry or try to score some drugs, you will be fine. I did walk around the block once on Sunday night and did not sense any concerns. Let's face it, whether you are in Tijuana, at an outlet mall, or in any public space, you always need to be aware of your surroundings. Since I go to Tijuana alone, I don't drink too much and do not put myself in a vulnerable position.
Prices. I read posts referring to "stupid Americans" crossing the border and driving up prices. I do not know any club I have gone to post pandemic where prices are not up significantly. I think it is natural for anyone from the US but especially someone from California to get carried away when they can pay $5 for a beer and $100 for 30 minutes with a girl. A beer at a US club cost $10+ and 20 minutes in a room with a girl from SR COI will cost you $400-$500+. I was at HK three nights and the Asian Americans that I saw were partying, having a lot of fun, and appeared to be spending the most money. I spoke to many girls and they love the Chinese, Korean and Japanese customers from California. I spoke with a girl that was a solid 10 and she told me she has no problem getting $300 for 30 minutes from her Asian customers from So California. I don't hold a strong opinion on this, but I do think HK offers great value even if prices have escalated or if people appear to be driving up prices.
Talent. I saw many posts about the lack of beautiful girls. Maybe some of these posters want to keep people from flooding Tijuana, but I saw some real beauties at HK on 2 out of 3 nights. One night the talent was so so and that was the night HK was closed. I would say the talent was so good that there were more girls that I wanted to be with than my body would allow me to take to my room.
My Visits. Upon my arrival I immediately purchased the 3 months VIP card and then went and got a room at Cascada. Since I will normally see 3-4 girls during a night, it makes sense to get a room. I always put my wallet, passport and extra cash in the safe in the room before going down to HK. I think the rooms at Cascada have been upgraded since my last visits and are worth the money especially if you like to rest a little after each session with a girl. My first night was on a Sunday and I was really shocked how many girls were working and how many customers were in full party mode. I personally have a preference for thin latinas that are not covered in ink. I found plenty to choose from. I think buying girls drinks is a great way to cut loose and get a vibe for a girl before taking her to a room, but the cost can add up quickly. Relative to US clubs, $100 for an hour in a vip room with a girl is super cheap and comes with a bottle, but is wasteful if you know you want to take a girl to your room upstairs. I do not mind buying drinks for a lady that I like, but it can easily add up if you are buying a split of wine for multiple girls. To me, it is the best way to see if a girl will be fun in the room if she is fun down in the club.
After my three visits to HK, I need to make this place my go to spot again. My only gripe was with the extremely loud music and some of the waiters can be rude and aggressive. I always try to find a good English speaking waiter I like that will take care of me. I travel all over the world to find the best spots for the hottest women. HK definitely lives up to the hype. It is hard for me to find women that are comparable to the Brazil women that I love so much, but I think being a repeat customer at HK might put some of their beautiful latinas in the same category as my favorite Brazilians.

I was there last year for my Birthday, with my buddy. We stayed in one of the Penthouse and we had an amazing trip. Yes, HK is more expensive, then before Covid, but so is everything else. Also, they try there stupid games, but you just say, "no" The staff will leave you alone. If you go to any strip bar or nightclub they are always trying to rip you off, or take advantage of you.
You do not have spend a lot of money at HK, if you have half a brain and a little game.
I was telling my friend about how guys complain about HK, he just laughed and we kept partying. HK is so much fun and Hot girls are everywhere, why complain.

I've written about this once or twice because it continues to anger me due to the large scar on my head when they dropped me head first after I passed out. That scar may be why some of my dates don't like me I don't know. It didbt bother me as much first few years because I was too busy hanging out in those bars. Now that I don't its passing me off this scar. This would been a little before midnight on a Sat night, I hadn't even been drinking or gone to bars but you needed a hotel had no bags had finished a tinder date in Ceasars and she went her way and I went looking for a hotel. It was a crowded street and 6 deported types 3 woman, all about 23 to 26, all dressed to go clubbing on revolution, they got me by having one girl offer sex. I told her no but she kept talking to me wanted a dollar I took put a 5, went looking for the single and a dude is in my face asking for the whole wallet. I thought he was joking because he was like 5 foot 2. Then another ones in my face I'm fighting off six hands trying to get in my wallet and then3 more show up 1 of which chokes me out, when I wake up, I'm bleeding bad and a working girl wants to know how much they stole. They all watched it. Border patrol rushed me in called ambulance for San diego hospital. Before I got in the taxi, as most $ was in sneaker, another street dude said if I told the police about them he would kill me. Meanwhile I had told the police a minute earlier. If this haopned in usa none of you would even know about it because I would of gone about it differently, and wouldn't even be angry about it still like I am. They got away with it because its mexixo and I can't make any moves in mexixo.

It seems their standards at HK have become less stringent and they are just gambling the heavier chicas will sell the drinks they're required for the week. You never know which chica has the talent to sell 100+ fichas a week. Some are wallflowers and will get kicked to another club while others are straight hustlers. Some are great snake charmers while others would have to pay you to talk to them. It is just a gamble I'm thinking the club takes since it is a numbers game. The summer should be better with coeds and other younger chicas trying their hand at the puta game.

I read all the sob stories on this and other boards about the trouble people get into in Tijuana and am convinced a large percentage of them (maybe not the majority, but a large portion) are at least partly due to poor decisions the person made (often while drunk) to put themselves in the position of being harassed in the first place. But when they post their sob stories to these boards they nearly always leave out the stupid shit they did to put themselves in a bad situation / vulnerable position.
Have been through a bunch of parts of Tijuana over the past 10-12 years and personally never even come close to having trouble with anyone. Whether it be Zona Norte or anywhere else out and about in Tijuana. Everyone's always been real cool. In general Mexico is more chill and laid-back than the USA Much of the key is to. As you pointed out. Stay aware of your surroundings (including staying in generally safe areas), keep a low profile, and refrain from doing stupid shit in another country. But for some it's apparently a lot harder than others to follow those simple rules. Obviously can't deny the abundance of corrupt police and high crime but again, you can mitigate those risks with basic street smarts and keeping a low profile.
