I Believe the place in San Carlos TD Lord Black's, across (or next?) to Froggy's Bar. I agree, Guaymas is nicer, both in environment and chicas.

i went into another bar closer to the crossing. there was one middle-aged woman working. kind of on the chunky side. i was kinda horny, so i sat down with her and bought her a beer or two. i needed a cold one anyway. it was hotter than blue blazes outside. she wanted to go to her room for $50. i haggled. she went down to $25 pretty doggoned fast. in the end, she was just too short and chunky. i like long legs and the thought of screwing a dwarf, just turns me off. i left.

i tried several other bars, but there were only gordas and the ratio of men to women was way too high. in one bar, the women seemed really loud and crude. too loud and crude for me.

maybe on the weekends it's a whole different story. in any case, if you've never been to palomas, i'd say yeah, it's worth a peek. but be prepared to be sorely disappointed.

bw[/quote]i was there yesterday july 23, 2009 at around 1600. did the same park and walk, saw a much of bars open but all looks scary to me, walked to close to the end and back. its not that big remember. went into the "pink store" to cool off and look around, nice store. he had a few "real cuban" cigars, $11 each. bought 2 of the 3 he had. 45 mins later decided to get out of town. at night maybe its better or the weekend like you wrote.

About three years ago, a friend of mine and I went over to Palomas to take a look. We parked on the U.S. side and had a good meal at the pink store. Palomas is very small, but we did find what is considered to be the "best" bar on the main drag on the right hand side. It was around 6, 7 P.M., or so. About four or five "ladies" were there, most of whom had a few excessive pounds. Not one of them came over, asking for a drink.

We then walked around and some young hombres showed us a bar about a block west of the main drag and there were a few decent gals in there, one especially, but the place looked spooky, one gal was overly agressive, so we just left.

At dark, we walked back to the U.S. and the CBP Customs Agent told us that Palomas had its police officers go to the U.S. side, asking for asylum, as their police station had been blown up. I don't know if Palomas has any "police" officers now, or not.

Finally, I have met gals in Juarez from time to time who say they live in Palomas during the week, and go to Juarez on weekends to work.

Last week visit the Royal club in Guaymas.

Wednesday maybe 15 girls, lot of customers.

Thursday less girls, less customer. Same girls from 2 or 3 months before visit. Not much fun.

On last Friday visit La Habana club, incredible place, two stories up, bigger than Tijuana Adelitas, lower place is full at 11pm. 40 or 50 girls maybe, most of then thinner style very beautiful.

But need to be careful with prices: girls drinks are 60 pesos for very very small one, normal drinks are $180, but there are $300 big drink with lot of ice.

Privado is very good: 8 minutes for $150. And need to be very brave for the vip room, con todo is $3000. Pass on this is to expensive.

Next time going to visit other places, maybe a Lord Black here.

This weekend I am planning my mongering trip down south. Was planning on heading down on Friday morning, doing a walkaround though the afternoon and then off to the bar for some action after sunset.

Initially, I was thinking about heading to Los Algodones (SW of Yuma, AZ) and trying to hook up with a fellow monger who lives in Yuma. Hard to pass up the opportunity to go with a seasoned wingman.

I was talking/PMing with "AP Guy" awhile back and also thought about a trip to Agua Prieta. I don't have any real experience with either place.

Has anyone here been to both? How about a comparison?

I am headed to Auga Prieta and want to know prices where the zone is? Is there much of a nite life there?

Jeweler[/QUOTE]Cross into MX and tell the first taxi driver "La Zona"(about a 40-50 pesos ride). The Zone is about a mile south of the border. There are two clubs there. Patio 5/10 prices are 400-500 for the girl & 100 for the room. The Flamingo (across the dirt lot from Patio) is 400/100. Another place is close to the border, cross over head south on same street as you crossed on, go about 3-4 streets turn right at it is on the left within the same block. Never really liked that place since they moved it from the Zone closer to the border.

W/re to other night life there are several night clubs, they usually get started pretty late. Be careful, some of the local bars/clubs have TV. That is unless you like men dressed as women.

I like Nogales better. More clubs, more women, and some are really wanting extra money these days. The clubs in Nogie have two shifts; 11AM-8PM & 8PM-2AM. I like to visit all the girls during the early shift, and set up dates for when they get off at 8PM. Once that date is over, usually 9-10PM, then I make the same rounds visiting the girls on the 8PM-2AM shift doing the same thing. Setting up dates for 2AM. I get all their phone number and start all over again the next morning. Except I start having the early shift girls come by my hotel on their way to work. Same with the PM shift girls. If you work it right you can have four to 4-6 different girls a day.

If that isn't enough, there is the after hours club where all the party girls go after they get off work. Be careful there as many of the local Mexican guys are already drunk and sometimes get a little aggressive with gringos.

NO, I didn't discover all this on my own. I had a master teacher. El LOBO. He is the man when it comes to working the streets in Nogales.

Second, only the Flamingo & the 5/10 still have any girls. Scandolos bar closed this location and moved to new a location a few blocks from the border (the one described in my earlier post). The other two bars shown are both dried up as far as girls go.

Do not knock on the window at the Flamingo as stated in the published map. These girls change rooms almost as often as they do condoms. Go into the bars and check out the girls. Often the girls show up late, 930PM-10PM is usually when most of the girls have shown up. Once you find one you like and have had a visit to her room, then you know were she lives (at least for the moment). I usually get the phone numbers of the ladies I like and call them prior to me wanting to go and see them.

Even my very bad spanish usually gets the message across. "Donde estas? " Where are you? Voy a Nogales/Ap or voy a tu cuarto Sabado. I am going to Nogales or I am going to your room Saturday. You get the idea. I just want to find out if they are in town and available to see my gringo ass once I get there. As poor and improper as this attempt at spanish might be, it gets me layed more often than not.

Check out some LOBO's post. He has several good phrases that will help. Write them down on a little note card. Hell, even if you can't pronounce the words, show the phrases to your new girlfriend, have a great laugh and get layed.

Last time I was there (5 years ago) , there was some street action on 13th. But nothing good. One time a guy (pimp) offered me to take me to a house with girls, but I was chicken to get in the car with him and drive somewhere. Didn't want to get kidnapped or something like that. One guy told me he took a stripper out of a club for 150 us for an hour. That's all I know.
