I'm looking for information from people who have been in Brazil or will be in Brazil +/- 180 days. I'm looking for current information.

I read and am updating for my own purposes and those of others if they want it, Bubba Boy's Guide. So, those are my guidelines. Others can do whatever they want. They criticize me. I criticize them. Whatever, this is just a message board. It really doesn't make any difference.

You already made those posts. I could link to them. So, now you're contradicting your own statements, which is fine.

You obsess over my posts. I post some absurdist plot line about being a naval officer from Austria and Switzerland, and you actually look it up, like it is serious. It's a joke.

I will repeat what Bubba Boy wrote in his guide: thanks for this forum, which has been helpful. I try to pay it forward for new members, to pass along what I learned from Bubba Boy and Sperto.

Granted "Stupid Shit in Brazil" may not be the greatest of thread to look for meaningful information on Brazil, but nevertheless, any astute BM should be able to garner useful nuggets of intel, from time to time and ignore/leave the irrelevant nonsense at bay.

There are some members of this board who have been or are coming to Rio in +/- 180 days who have useful information. JimmyBoy, Nounce, Sperto, and many others.

Then there are board members, including you, Cane, Nordico among others, who just post for its own sake, and almost never post anything of actual daily value. But you argue forcefully for your right to write.

This is just a message board. It's not, for example, people trying to whack each other with live ammunition, or people trying to decide whether to buy or sell stock, or arguing on behalf of a client in a court filing.

Like I said in my previous post I have to work for my living. Fortunately I'm pretty happy with my life even when I'm not traveling.

It's great that there are people who support you. It seems very important to you. I have never had any fanboys, just friends, so I don't know how it is. I hope you don't abuse them too much. I have heard some stories.
