I stayed at the Hotel Neruda. The hotel is well-located in Provendencia. It is a 5 minute walk to Suecia street. Guests are allowed but I did not find it a particularly good mongering hotel. The room are fairly dark. I enjoy a room with a view. The beds are squeeky.

My best times were in calling the chicas in the advertisements in the newspaper. I quickly discovered that phone numbers starting with -2- are the ones located in Provendencia and all the apartments and offices were with in walking distance from Hotel Neruda.

You can pay in the range of between $30 and $100 at the apartments. the $30 places are going to be on massage tables in office buildings. The $100 places are going to be in apartments with beds and the women are going to hotter although the cheaper girls also can be quite cute. In on e of the apartments they actually had a whip and handcuffs hanging on the wall. I did not partake in the game. I recommend the $100 places if you can pay the freight.

I tried the cafe with legs but was not impressed by the quality of chicas downtown. I went into perhaps 5 or 6 of them but did not see anything I really liked.

And now for me major screw up. I paid close to $400 for probably the worst girl in Platinum club. My mother always taught me to -To live and learn- but sometimes I am not so quick on the learning part.

I have been hustled for about 3 times at Poseidon in Bangkok, Barbarellas in Rio and now the Platinum in Santiago. The game is that you are new to a place obviously since you do not know your way around the club. The waiter sits you down next to one of the worst girls in the club who of course is better looking than anyone that I date in the states. She starts paying you a lot of attention and making promises. - I have lots of time and I do not have to return to the club.- You take the bait and you end up paying a premium for an average girl. You get back to the room. She makes a call and and 45 minutes to an hour later the phone is ringing off the hook. -I have to go. It is my mother- Of course, whose mother calls at 2:00 AM. A lousy experience that I paid $300 more for than for a $100 girl in an apartment of equal quality and better sex.

Oh well, but hey there are some gorgeous girls in the Platinum club. Probably more beautiful girls than I have seen in anyone club anywhere in the world. The show is good. I would go but not take any out unless you really wanted it. It is going to be an expensive night. One guy took three out at one time while I was there. Again there are guys that can pay the freight. You know who you are. I think we all know that money is one dimension on which we guys compete for women.

Sticking with my previous observation -- the major strip clubs in Santiago are simply attrocious!

If you go, bring a friend. PROMISE that you won't take a girl out. PROMISE that you will get one phone number before leaving. KNOW where apartments/*****houses are within 10 minutes of the strip joint. PROMISE that if a girl gets you that excited, you will retreat to one of those.

Still, if you blend the price you paid with the others during the week, your average wasn't too bad, was it?

Olivers should fit that budget. It is on McIver street downtown. Bear in mind that it is open in the afternoon. You will fnd a more women on thursdays and fridays.
