Seeking Arrangements stiff "membership" fees worth it?
Hi guys, coming late into your conversation. Some posts here pointed me to S. A. For making pre-travel appointments and on the ground connections. So I tried it out. And it seems like I am getting some leads with relative ease. I am surprised actually. But since I just sighed up, I have not yet paid for subscription. Now they really make you do it because you can't even see the replies of the messages you sent unless you pay. It's pretty steep price (given how folks on this site sometimes wind themselves for years before they pay their one-time activation fee for PM, haha), like they want USD 90 per freaking month! That sure is a rip-off, but I wonder if that also means the girls are mostly just in their to get a shot at a 500 USD per night date. I saw some mainstream news and blog articles which tout this as an option for women to make big bucks.
What I see is a mixed basket. I actually see girls saying the want long time relationships. More often than not even. But not sure if all of that cuteness and the attention you're apparently getting there is just a bait to make us guys pay through our nose for the membership fees to then end up with some entitled drama queen who demands a Gucci handbag on first date in a shopping mall?
If you cannot afford to pay, you cannot afford to play

You have to have money and game. Patience is also required. There are no guarantees. You have to judge for yourself if the price is worth it for you. Making gross generalizations is neither true nor helpful. You might find the membership fees high, but they are no different than cover charges at clubs. They are designed to weed out the cheap Charlies that cannot afford the women and are there to harass the women. That is what the premium tiers are for. They signal to the women that you have bank or coin. If you can afford the fees, you can afford to play and will generally not be a jerk because that is for losers. There are a certain number of girls looking for high rollers and there are girls that are just one step above a street walker. Choose wisely. If you don't want to work, just go to a brothel. Escort services are generally higher with higher quality women. They have a reputation to keep and kick off the scam artists and losers. On the other hand, it is expensive for the women. They have to spend time and money to look nice and there are a certain number of guys that are no shows. Plus, the hosting company takes a cut. This is not a cheap hobby. You have to be financially successful and put in the time.
I made the jump. But here's a concern
OK I jumped into that SA thing by paying their membership $$$ so I could read some of the response messages I got. But I became a bit concerned about what the girls can see about us on the other side. And so I made a throwaway account as a girl, and it's quite interesting just how the "net worth" and "annual income" features in their search and list views. They need to pay their fee for being able to filter by ethnicity, body type, net worth, and income. They pay $20 per month for that. We pay $100 per month. Ah well. OK. I guess $20 per month is a lot if you're a girl living in Venezuela. I suppose this whole $$ is the reason why SA works pretty well to get attention. So far so good.
I frankly am a little concerned to play this $$$ worth and income game. Found a cutie in a small town in Colombia (I have a thing for the idea of small town girls) but my big head plays through some scenarios. So you announce some amount of $$$X net worth, and you go to the Colombian country side, where then you are being kidnapped and extorted for a good share of your net worth to walk free again. This is making me apprehensive. So I might totally overstate the amount or just declare "I don't want to say". Do you have any research how that affects the hits? With the gold diggers you got to be careful.
Seeing the other guys in the search is also interesting. How they market themselves. One guy posted > 100 million $$$ net worth and 1 million income, and declared himself a business man. Credible. But would you go out with that target on your back??? Another dude posted no pic of himself but only his arm with Rolex in front of his BMW steering wheel. Pathetic!
