1. Many markets have industries with huge bonuses. If a single investment banker in NYC gets a $500,000 year-end bonus after a great deal year, do you really think paying $10,000 for a 24-hour special trip with a high-end escort is going to traumatize him?
2. I think you would be surprised at how many of those ladies grandfathered in regulars at a high, but not as outrageous rate, with no minimum time blocks. I used to see an escort in Las Vegas who grandfathered me in at $450 an hour, but swore me to secrecy. There were probably a lot of us sworn to secrecy, but for what it is worth she said I was one of her first Johns and one of her best repeaters. Her published rates got much more outrageous soon after I got grandfathered in.
