First: Wanchai sucks in comparison to Manila or AC. Forget about Wanchai. The bar girls are very expensive and quality is not high. Go to Macau if you want to have a real good time and money is no object. Macau has very high quality girls. The Hong Kong ferry runs every 30 minutes from multiple locations and takes less than 90 minutes. From Macau you can fly to KL or take a ferry directly to the Hong Kong International Airport.
Second: Flying into Manila on a Friday night around 9 pm and then cabbing it to AC IS NOT A GOOD IDEA! THE TRAFFIC WILL DESTROY YOUR PLANS! It could take up to two hours just to get out of Metro Manila. On two different Friday night arrivals in Manila, it took me over an hour just to drive to Makati! But all is not lost. Philippine Airlines has flights arriving in Manila from HKG at 10 am, 1:30 pm, and 3:35 pm. These flights would give you the necessary time needed to enjoy AC for all its worth on Friday night. But if you can't book these flights, I would strongly recommend staying in Makati and having a great weekend in Manila. I actually prefer Manila over AC..
Thank you as well!
With the most aggressive flight selection, I might be able to swing a 2:30 HKG departure / 4:40 pm NAIA arrival on Friday (Cathay) and a 8:45 pm departure from NAIA to KL on Sunday. Would leaving AC by 4 pm be sufficient to make the 8:45 pm flight from Manila?
Unfortunately since a weekend is likely the most I'll ever be able to swing. Am beginning to lean towards doing the AC run.

Pretty good info to Mduga, who apparently hasn't twenty dollars for membership.
Its Christmas. Thought I'd help out Westie who usually has to remind folks about putting in, LOL.
You're welcome.
After clearing immigration and customs, change money if needed, and transit to AC you're looking at midnight arrival - 9-10 pm traffic on a Friday night is often still heavy-ish, but it's no longer the rainy season so that's in your favour. Check in hotel, freshen up, and be at the bars by 1 am to start trawling. What remains? Let's say you get a so-so one and have your fun with her. You have Saturday afternoon to pick a decent short time, then get rid of her to hit the bars at 7-8 pm to find an exceptional one. If you find her try to negotiate a LT until Sunday afternoon when you depart. If you don't a great one pick up a so-so one for a ST and then return again a few hours later to try your luck again. Try to negotiate a LT until Sunday afternoon when you depart.
If you stay in Manila you can be in your hotel by 10 pm. Hit EDSA, Havana or Burgos by 11 pm. If you're really keen after you're done with her go to LA. Saturday afternoon visit Burgos for a ST pickup. Saturday night your choice of Burgos or EDSA for 7-8 pm; Havana isn't worth going to until after 10 pm. Sunday late morning / early afternoon check out of your hotel, go to LA for a last pick up to be done at a hot sheet hotel.
In AC's favour, you have thousands of girls there and they just spent a lot of money during Christmas. Chris Long's FR's are reporting "dimes", which I reckon means 10's. Against AC's favour, the top ones may have received a lot of Christmas money from sponsors and you are in peak tourist season. Of course this is the case for Thailand too.
If you attach a lot of significance to the bucket list then follow your ambition. If you are certain you can swing a less rushed AC trip in the near future then postpone.
The Chris Long posts are very interesting indeed. Lhexi may be worth looking up.
With regards to AC accommodations, ABC appears to have served many well?
Separate question. It seems like there are a few different pool parties on Saturday. Is Scorebirds the recommended choice for that?

Third: Cebu Pacific has a flight from HKG arriving in AC at 11:45 am Friday morning. If you can't make this flight or the early afternoon Manila flight then drop your AC plans for another time. It just won't be worth the trouble and limited time you will have.
Lastly: getting out of AC, Manila, Macau or HKG is no problem. Take a Sunday night non stop flight from any of these locations to KL.
Thanks a lot for this! Exactly what I need for planning my next trips.

I'd be surprised if you check into your hotel much before 10 pm. But that still leaves you the rest of the night to get your party on. I would definitely leave way before 4 pm for your Sunday flight. The lines at the airport can be long as well.
I've stayed at the ABC and enjoyed it a lot particularly one of the suites with a Jacuzzi, fairly expensive but I think worth it.
Scoreboards is the best pool party IMO.

What triggered my flip was taking my craiglist's advert, which worked quite well, and using it on dating sites. It was an experiment, and I didn't think it would prove successful. But it was a low-risk experiment; it it blew up in my face I could always go back to my let's-have-coffee-and-a-chat approach, couldn't I?
Two things happened. I received many fewer messages and replies from women. No surprises there. But a good thing happened, too. Of those who still contact me most read the profile, understand it is about sex, and are happy to participate
What was you craigslist advert?
Good insight, and the' truth. Hope guys do not kid themselves its something else, LOL.
Yes. It would be a mistake to think the poverty stricken Filipinos are being genuinely nice to foreigners. There are more than a few down and out stranded foreigners in cities across the Philippines who found out Filipino niceness comes to an end when the foreigner goes to the ATM and gets his cash withdrawal denied due to insufficient funds. In fact, the Bureau of Immigration cannot even be bothered to round these poor souls up and hold them at Bicutan Detention Center pending deportation as there is no money in detaining overstayed foreigners who are now vagrants in the Philippines.
On Christmas Day, I stopped at a bakery on a street corner to buy some Filipino treats. As usual, they did not have change for my crisp 100 peso bill. I guess they do not get many high-rollers at these proletarian establishments. So, I dug into my pockets to scrounge up the grand sum of 9 pesos though it would be beneath the dignity of most high-rollers to be forced to count coins. All of a sudden, there are shouts of "Merry Christmas" and outstretched palms are jammed in my face from all directions inside the bakery. The female teenage beggars were aggressive and demanding to be given money before I even paid for my baked goods. The bakeshop attendant was quite amused by this and laughing. I glower at the mendicants, quickly count out 9 pesos, hand it to laughing hyena behind the counter and make my escape. A stream of verbal abuse follow me out the bakery and across the street. Have a Merry Christmas indeed or more like, fuck you Mr. Foreigner and give us your money because it is Christmas Day.
Filipino beggars believe they have a right to the foreigner's money. They do not ask. They demand! They prepare their insults in advance as they feel righteous in verbally abusing foreigners cheeky enough to refuse them money or, worse yet, give them a sum of money less than what the beggar feels is appropriate for an asshole foreigner. I find this attitude amusing in a country where the foreigner is always wrong and believed to have no rights whatsoever. To them a foreigner is nothing yet he is expected to give generously to local beggars when their fellow Filipinos do not even acknowledge their existence and give them nothing.
These are moments when reality pierces the thin veneer of fake Filipino niceness. Rather than being dismissed as occasional instances of nastiness they should be taken as gentle reminders not to get too lost in the fantasy created while poking that excellent Christmas beaver. It ends when you stop paying.
Not so sure sl.
Was out today in bangkok and tonight in pattaya and must have seen hundreds if not thousands of tourists out holding hands with thai girls, in the restaurants eating, in the mall, having ice cream, in the cinema, funny, most guys had a very big grin on their faces too.
As I say, pay enough cash and most poor girls the world over are willing to play pretend girlfriend to the lonely.
As far as the guys saying english is spoken in the phills, I agree the level of english is probably the best of asia, but still not good, and what exactly is there to discuss with a teenage bar girl that grew up in the outback, living in a hut with no tv, no access to books, newspapers or a school.
Maybe some are willing to discuss with them how to best shit in a hole in the ground, how to get the funds to send to her parents to replace the dead buffalo or where the funds might come from to replace that leaking roof on the parents hut,
sorry guys I am not buying your arguments, more effort please LOL.
Those discussions about how best to shit in a hole in the ground can sometimes prove to be entertaining. Some are wonderful storytellers and you may hear tales of how some family member was squatting over a dark hole late at night only to be: bitten on the balls by a venomous snake; stung in the asshole by venomous insects; or bitten on the ass by a rabid rodent. Take a close look at provincial Filipino's ass and you may be amazed by the number of scars and marks on it.
Not all of them shit in a hole in the ground. Some are from more creative households where the residence is built on stilts along the river. In these cases the hole is in the floor of the house. When they shit the projectile free falls for many feet making a spectacular splash in the river below.
All the more reason to go to Macau now while the good times last.
Totally agree Natty, but we need to note from your previous post "Go to Macau if you want to have a real good time and money is no object.".
Actually, the main reason for the decline in Macao's fortunes is the Bun Emperor's continued '3 vices' crackdown (since 2013) aimed squarely at his political opponents and appointees who have benefited to the tune of billions of dollars from the Toad Emperor's corrupt practices. One recently 'detained' army official had family property and assets seized to the value of USD37 billion!
Corrupt officials are too scared to go to Macau and splurge millions of yuan, or try and launder money. Eventually, Macau will turn into a resort area full of wholesome family values and entertainment.
Ikksman.
P.S. The 3 vices are prostitution, gambling and drugs.
Amazing. ... 4 years ago, my buddy and I both barfined girls one night ... and asked them to stay with us for the next three days. Both of them went back to the bar around noon, came back later and said they were ours for the time we wanted, no discussion of money. When we left for the airport we took care of them and that was it. It was awesome actually ...
Indeed amazing, but I guess these 'good old days' are irrevocably over now, no? Or had anybody got a similar experience with steady barfine in 2015? Just wondering!
Gentlemen, I wish all of you a very happy and successful new year!
Cheers!
Hesekiels.

Hesekiels.
The thing is now the girls have knowledge and power. The power to say no and the knowledge the mamasan or BM can't make them due to the Raids and HT laws. If a girl makes a complaint to PNP, the bar will be raided. Also salaries for the Top tier Girls, Spotlight and Cultural dancers is 300 p a day. Add in 2 to 4 DLD a day at 50 p commission a drink. Thats another 100 to 200 p a day. That is above avg wage in the PI with salary & drinks alone. So only the ambitious girls BF regularly and the other girls only when and with whom they want. That is what makes AC a different type of location. Money alone is not guarantee of success, Personality can be important.
