The hotels are really cheap now and the girl said to me that she doesn't know if Scandallo is open, but if it is open, there is no business. She said that in Scandallo she asks 600 for an hour and can go down to 500, but not below that plus the client has to pay the entrance and the room. Now I get three hours of that same pussy for 600, which could be even less if I negotiated.

I was with a girl in VM and the next week saw her in La Dolce Vita. I didn't get the opportunity to ask her "Dolce Vita" price but her VM price was 100 reais / hour and I would guess that she may ask 300 or 250 in Dolce Vita. Pricing varies with location, and in that respect its not that different to real estate-"location, location, location" is the mantra of the real estate agents. The girls in Dolce Vita will ask 300 or even 400 because they think the market can support that price and some punters will pay that, it is market forces at work.
In another post a punter writes about the damage (in MC and in my humble opinion that is crazy money to pay. Just around the corner there is an apartment (Nossa Senhora No 583 apartamento 303) where 40 minutes is 110 reais. It is where the locals go as they leave MC for gringos eager to splash their cash.
It is not necessary to spend a lot of money to have a good time!

For some people the hole is important and for others, what is around the hole. Of course I should have written my point with Capital, Bold and Underlined letters, that it seems to me that during the Carnaval, the mongering price goes down in Sao Paulo, but stays the same or goes up in Rio. My point was not to criticize the poster. If I went to Rio, I would definitely go to Monte Carlo, 4 x4 and others. I have found my way to enjoy my holidays in SP, and leave Rio, VM and Favelas to the "experienced" mongers.
What comes to the hourly price, in my case it could have been 200 for the girl, 79 for the Suite Violeta which is still very nice (there are also thrashy motels that cost 20, if you want to get that VM feeling and fuck standing with your shoes on, because the bed and the floor are so dirty) and maybe 30 for the beers. You go to any of the thousands of establishments in SP and in every single one of them, the majority of the clients are Brazilians, meaning that there are thousands of ways to do it. Not every Brazilian is there to collect phone numbers. These places would go bankrupt in a very short time. Maybe that's what is happening in Rio. I hear that it's not what it used to be.
I could go on and on, but I have to go to a supermarket to buy whipped cream, jello, chocolate puddings and stuff. I'm going to go to the same motel, with the same girl plus her friend and going to play with the girls and the groceries in the Jacuzzi.

However, my success rate of actually getting the girls to my hotel have not been that good. They all give me their whatsapp but an average of 1 in 3 make it to my hotel. I blame it on the carnival. However, every single girl I have been with in Brazil so far has been good service wise and my guess is that you can request the girl's contact for later action at your hotel / apartment without necessarily sampling on site.

I don't disagree with you as much as it may seem. Sometimes I'm not so good explaining myself. I also take phone numbers from the girl and take them back to my hotel later or their day off. I have just been surprised how good place SP is for mongering during the Carnaval. I thought that the mongering opportunities would be much worse during it, but surprisingly many girls (south of Brazil) say that they don't like the Carnaval. When I get top girls, for the price of a clinica girl, I don't negotiate much, just grab the offer. Maybe I'm too lazy.
