So returning foot traffic is very light now while car traffic is screwed. Looks like more and more people are driving over instead of walking.

The new desk, which I saw Saturday so 6 days ago, had 3 staff members, I believe a turnstile like on a subway line, a desk, while they didn't question me, I walked fast. A newbie may start looking, hesitating, and then get questioned. This checkpoint is new, wasn't there 2 weeks ago or in last 5 years, and its literary on the border with Mexico so few feet before the Mexican gate that is a 1 way gate.
