Daddy.. your in ALL the wrong places
You want to see moneyed ladies. Go check out Alabang town center and see the young chikkas getting out of Daddys' car. They got more than you andme put together. Of course their Daddy (not you LOL) generally has a house in Alabang (Ayala Alabang not the cheaper Alabang hills parts). A few companies and some good connections.
Burgos street most certainly isn't where the money is.
Alternately go look at some of the office in Yuchengko centre and hang around the PSE building on Ayala avenue. Lots of up and coming ladies with businesses. To look for money go to where the money is.
Theres plenty of Filipinas who own houses, have degrees from overseas (often US) schools, and take vacations in Europe twice a year with the odd shopping trip to HK. Go sit in the Cathay business and first class lounge at NAIA airport and you will see all these. Its all about being in the right place.
But some of us. Like it down and dirty. Much easier to hit the honey pot. Hahahah

Maybe I need to rephrase the statement I have seen them but just not have been able to become involved with one have not made any effort either. I go to the gym in Alabang where my town house is. Also I know a Filipina in Japan who is worth about 400 stacks http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=stack in liquid assets and about over another 200 stacks in property :) She is my LTR’s cousin who gave me assistance on buying my townhouse here.
....That's news to me also. I'm a Yella Brotha, hence the name Yella Man, and I don't have much problem hooking up with 7-10's in the Phils. Hell, I could be a 90 years old, one eyed, no legged gimp (no offense meant if you really are one) and still get some play off of some of the girls in the Phils. Sure, some of them have a preference, but the almighty $$$ and their basic survival instincts usually over rule preference. It's all about economics.
Still Skinning Them Up!

I always take a little time to read and learn "up" on the culture of a country before I visit and in this case live. If you don’t know about colonial effects the Spanish had on this country and the creation of the “white is right” phenomenon then you have not done your home work. Most of all the actors and people in positions of power have fair skin. Most Filipinos I have met outside the Philippines have very perverse attitudes towards blacks. Lazy, violent is only a small fraction of what I have heard. My GF of 2 years tells me everything that is said about or pertaining to blacks when she is in earshot. I had two Filipinos one a co-worker in Kabul but now naturalized citizen of the USA tell me black people are bad. I had one accountant I met online in Cebu tell me the same. When I confronted them with why is the Philippines on the US State department list as one of the most dangerous travel destinations they both came up with some lame excuse to defend their country.
That being said yes it still is easier for me to meet women here than in the US but I am just losing my desire for the ones who don’t got a pot to [CodeWord140] in and a window to throw it of. If you date or keep a fling that is broke more than likely her overall motivation for being involved with you is money. That’s fun and all but all that comes down to is another form of Pay for Play. While I know there are guys who say you pay for pussy no matter what I and I do believe this is true it’s nice to spend some time with woman who can buy her own damn cell phone which is such a popular sugar daddy gift now and days.
Bad Effects of Movies & TV

DW,
Being a white guy, I know that I don't have the same perspective on things that a black man would have. But I am sure that the way that most movies and TV programs portray blacks has a lot to do with how people view black Americans all around the world. I have black friends and co-workers that I feel I can trust much more than many whites or Asians. I feel that the generalization of people is wrong. You can't judge the character of a person just by their skin color.
I was asked if I would not vote for Obama in the recent elections, because of his skin color. My response was that I don't care about the color of his skin, rather what his capabilities are. I think that elections should be done much like an online job application. Don't do all the campaigning to get your face in front of everyone. Simply post your resume, absent of any mention of race, color, sex (gender that is :D ). And let the people select the best qualified candidate from that. I think that many people in America voted during this election in order to feel like they were making history, and not because their choice was the best qualified. That being said, I have no doubt that President Elect Obama will serve his country well. After all, how much worse can it get after father and son Bush, and Clinton?
Thanks for the history lesson on the PI, by the way. I am one of those that you mentioned, "not doing his homework."

Filipinos, Racism and Bleaching Cream
Filipinas probably spend more collectively on skin "whiteners" than any other people on the face of the earth. DW is absolutely correct. On the continuum of color, the whiter or paler you are, the better your adjudged to be and, if you're mestiza, you've won the gold ring. This obsession with whiteness is deeply ingrained from colonial times, and it ain't going away any time soon. Not only are many (perhaps most) of the most powerful politicians whiter than others, but so are the scions of the most successful business families..at least those who aren't Chinese. Whoever said that this is the most colonized country in the world was correct. Another problem of course is that the public education system basically perpetuates this mentality, and, since it does not encourage thought so much as it does rote memorization, the concept isn't going to evaporate overnight.
On the other hand Obama's election was followed widely here, and covered extensively both by the broadcast and print media. Perhaps the fact that the country most idolized and aped by Filipinos actually elected an African American will do more to cause Filipinos to question the legitimacy of the whole color=human worth equation than anything else.
As to chasing women who can actually afford a cell phone, I think DW's point is well taken. The fact is that competent women are more likely to be decently educated and you may even be able to have an intelligent conversation with them. They may, for example, have actually read books. The constant chase after uneducated pussy, be they P4P or no, gets tiresome after a while if you live here. There's only so much time you can spend in bed and sooner or later, you're probably going to have to actually talk to someone in entire paragraphs that contain, perhaps, complex sentences. It's nice to find women who are capable of doing this.
