I am looking for good quality hotels to take my GF from Old Dhaka near Kakrail, Bijoy Nagar or Motijheel areas. For me, comfort and class will be an absolute requirement. If within budget, that's a bonus. I went to Isha Kha once 4 years ago. Is it still a good choice for taking girls over there and stay overnight? I know about Hotel 71. Apart from these, do you have any other recommendations for those areas?

Also, any suggestions on good-quality budget hotels at other parts of the city?

If you are budget conscious then you may try hotel Givency at Firmgate. I used to use it. Not bad. But standard is below than 71. Fare is in between 2500-3500.

Visited City Inn yesterday, I happened to be in Uttara and thought it was a good idea to check it out on Inauguration day.

Their location was very easy to find, first private building after you cross Airport / Cargo road (H-1, are-1, S-1, Uttara). I saw several girls and was not impressed at all. Girls quality was like 1.5/2.0 on a scale of 5. Normally in Famous / Smile you can easily get 3.0/3.5 ish girls. They charge similar to other places, between 2.5-3.5 K for different type of body massage. The rooms are freshly renovated, actually only half of the renovation was completed, rest was still under renovation.

To my surprise, there is no "John" Package! When I asked about their FB post, they declined to know anything about that!! I was a bit pissed by this stage, I know once in the room, I could works something out with the girl but looking at girl quality, I really lost interest.

I am sure everything will become available soon, waiting for a report from others before stepping into this joint again.
