Winter Break – Angeles City, Philippines (Warning! Long Post)
Continued from Manila thread.
December 30 (Day 4: Wednesday).
Took Roy's great taxi service and reached AC just in time for the check-in. Now while Illusion's room was upgraded, I got screwed. I had clearly asked for a smoking room and they offered me a non-smoking room and apologized saying there was no smoking room currently available. To add insult to injury I was given Room # 414. Those who know the LGH will concur that this room is really at the back of beyond and can take a full 5 minute walk to just get to the lift. I was seething, but I had little choice. The pretty girl at the reception Jhovey said she would change the room for me the next day. I nodded and took the key card.
The good thing is that most of the hotel staff remembered me from the last lvisit and were very friendly and courteous.
My first job was to take my used clothes and get it to a laundry. There is one called Fields Laundry Service just up the road after ABC Hotel. The sweet aatey took my clothes and processed them and gave me a receipt for 173 P (roughly SGD 6). Now back home in Singapore this would have cost me at least SGD 50. What a country!

So I will cut to the chase on my picks over the next 4 days.

I have been away fro quite a while with the Philipines area, I wonder what I have read here is the usually for the bar, you pay Bar fine then that include the girls service for LT, just only give her tip after that? Cops clueless on American hotel owner's disappearance
Angeles City—An American hotel owner here has been missing since Nov. 7 last year, and his business friends expressed fear he has been abducted or killed.
The search for Lewis Yakich, owner of Lewis Grand Hotel on Don Juico Avenue near the Clark free port, has not yielded any leads, according to Chief Insp. Derick Relativo, head of the police station in Angeles.

Some expatriates on Fields Avenue, the city's entertainment district, have expressed fear that he may have been abducted or killed, said a concerned American who contacted the Inquirer.

Underestimating the long term stay in angeles city

Most will say that you can do much of what needs to be done in the city in 3-4 nights. I like to say that If your intentions are to party hard drink fuck and not sleep Then any party town (Las Vegas Bangkok Ect Ect) will beat you down after 3-4 days. What a long term stay in AC allows you to do is move at much slower pace.
AC is very centrally located to move about the island of Luzon in either direction 2 hrs and you will find almost any activity a human has ever come up with for entertainment purposes. The problem is a lot of people just stay in a 1 mile strip an don; t venture off fields. A long term stay allows you to also waste a few days looking for that special girl in the bars. No way you can fully hunt more then 4-6 bars a night so with 40 good bars to pick from at least you need at least 2 weeks to fully vent them all.
Don't underestimate the long term stay value.
