Medellin Reports

Landed down around 12:30 for my second trip back to Medellion. Customs was a breeze this afternoon and much shorter lines than my last trip. Hit the ATM and took out enough money to get me started. Outside the airport I told one of the guys that was trying to herd me to a taxi "collectivo taxi San Diego" to save a little money, than just grabbed a regular taxi to the room I rented on airbnb close to the Santa Fe mall.

After settling in and getting a needed shower I was itching to get to centro. First stop was conojitas, as it was good early on my last trip. I know the the hot spots change quickly here, either the rain was making for a slow day here or the girls have moved on to a new club. Anyway, hung out for a beer, didn't see anything I wanted for 60-70 mil when I knew the casas were still open. So on to club sexy amigas it was. This place had some great line ups last time as well. Today I noticed a different mamasan and the line up was down a little but I still found one to my liking. Took this young 20 year old to the back for half hour for 35 k. She did hit me up for 20 k for DATY which I don't always do but it was my first time being upsold on this.

Next up I wanted to stop by the coffee shop as I remembered seeing a good review last trip but when I checked it out last trip not much was going on. Walked in and noticed the hostess was cute, so was hoping the line up would be as well. After viewing the line up I thought the hostess was still the best Chica there. To my surprise she was available so I figured why not, it's like $13 American. I wasn't sure how easy this quick of a round 2 would be for me but she did the job.

After only about 2 hours sleep and a day of traveling and 2 nuts I was spent. Decided to stay in and watch some football, get an early night of sleep.

But with Jake's services where he sends you out with a girl for the night, how would his services be helpful if the girl is likely a non-English speaker and there are no other people around to help translate? I don't imagine Jake is going to be out with us all night in case we need translation help.

I guess being away from MDE for over a year has gotten me way behind on the delights of the city. With new places like Help of Medellin, LDV of Laureles, and Tequila Rocks of Parque Lleras thing have really improved. I have been to the original Tequila Rock (notice my correct spelling) in Lima, and of course LDV in CTG. Never made it to Help in Rio, but from all accounts it was heaven on earth.

Old Parr again you have proved your worth, and if your old friend Urban W is still alive I 'm sure he would be proud.

Yes these freelance bars the girls will go home with you, but also know that they might set you up to be robbed when you are in your room by using the drug I mentioned, or by calling a friend to come over, and at a set time they will open up your door to let them in. Another thing you have to be aware of is these girls that work in these freelance bars, or the girls that work the street, have police officer friends, and they will call them and tell them you tried to sexually assault them, so this friend will come to your hotel room, and take you into custody if you do not produce a large amount of money.

8). Yes I would highly recommend you book a room for two. Some take the identification of the of the girl and some do not.

Are there any freelance bars? Are there bars where the girls go home with you? What is the hotel policy about bringing girls back to your room? Do you have to have a room for two? Do they take the girls ID?

It was also excellent advice given for Big Johnson2 to stay at the places recommended to him, as he will have others to socialize with since he is a non Spanish speaker, and a first time visitor to Medellin.

I don't imagine Jake is going to be out with us all night in case we need translation help.[/QUOTE]It never seems to be a problem, everybody either has translation in their cell phones and all the places have WiFi just hand your phone to the server but the real fun is to wing it because most of the girls know some English and its fun to try it for a while without any help. When or if you you need it its as easy as Google translate on your cell or applications now that don't need WiFi but your right, I don't go along on the dates with you, the girls sort of act as your guide so you don't have to worry just have fun!

I heard some gringo who had been taking pictures of the casa girls over a long period of time, got punched out because he published the photos on his site against and without their permission and finally the boyfriends beat him up! Anybody hear about this?

If you don't speak Spanish, then don't take the chicas out on dates. Fuck them and spend time in the room with them. Sitting in a restaurant and handing your phones back and forth using "Google Translate" is not going to be a fun time. Besides, what if she is looking for a "smart gentleman" and it translates as "ready horseman"? Because [I]caballero listo[/I] will translate that way. Or "comprometido. " You promise her something and the next you know, she thinks you are engaged to be married. And I bet most non-Spanish speakers don't know how to put in tildes and accent marks so you might ask her how many assholes she has when you are trying to ask her how old she is.

If an issue came up about whether the BJ was to be covered or not it would be entertaining to listen to the exchange along with everything else that needed to be translated if there actually was an intercom system.

I've been to Cuba, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and Tijuana -- went with enough extremely basic Spanish to get the deed done, ie. , negotiate, bring girl back to room and when session was over, that was it. I cannot imagine myself spending anymore time than that (as in a night out on the town) without a loss of communication.

Help used to be in Rio, LDV is in Cartagena, and there are a couple of Tequila Rock Discos in Lima.
