You will never get the "intimacy" you desire if you can't speak her language. They will get terminally bored if they have to use a translate app 75% of the day, every day. So, take some classes, expand your Spanish, and you'll have more fun.
Regarding finding a normal girl, definitely look outside of the USA. Feminism has so poisoned the relationship between men and women that there is no point for a younger guy to try to make things work with a gringa. Overestimated by spanish ability haha even though I took 4 years of it in HS and now I only remember bad words and monger words lmao. Either going to have to re-learn spanish or find a chica who speaks some english. Based on what he spent on the trip all together, I would say he is far from frugal. If he spent this much on a chick he barely knew, I'm sure he would be willing to shell out way more for a girl who he really clicked with and would be willing to provide a genuine girlfriend experience. I know I sure as hell would never spend that much, but I'm admittedly a cheap skate deep down and make sure every girl I hook up with knows it so they don't expect something crazy from me.
