Indeed we all agree, tardiness is a general problem in the DR as it is a cultural norm. We who are used to seeing it as synonymous to respecting others, take it harder, when we visit third world countries. This last trip in September, I had a situation when the girl was over 30 minutes late, in a taxi to be paid for by me, apparently because of a thundershower in her neck of the woods. After waiting for some time, I texted her back saying I was canceling the appointment. Well, it was her who had more to lose so the usual wrangling of "please, will not happen again" began. Indeed, it was better next time. But, other than this thing of late show up which I must admit still gets my goat, despite all the yoga, I have had no other issues of people treating me shabbily (barring of course sometime developing cold feet). These are women (and of course not being a pro helps) who treated with kindness, tend to reciprocate like all other human beings.

That right there could go a long way if they need more time. Im talking about chicas a guy has a personal relationship with. Not necessarily some chica out on the prowl, who is open for business 24/7.

Now if you would only put this much effort into responding to direct questions posed to you, instead of selective deflection / avoidance, that would be quite a change and accompkishment.

My point was simply that many of our 'brothers' I believe, read into these posts that like the foreign myth of 'American streets being paved with gold', Sosua is the six flags of the North American sex world. And that by simply being American, however socially inept, entitles them some natural immunity to harm wherever they go.

And the fact that almost every negative experience related on these threads gets force fed back to the poster nine fold with some form of superior, condescending analysis discourages most negative truths and consequently presents an unbalanced picture.

And that's all from me about that so caveat emptor and buena suerte!

Yes, of course the dog analogy is figurative. Use the same simple and consistent tactics you would use to train a dog to act how you want, and avoid ambiguous body language and mixed messages.

A chica I know from Sousa (a hardcore pro) just sent me a photo of her in the airport on her way to the US! Says she has a boyfriend now. I guess some dreams do come true! Hope it all works out. Tend ta doubt it but good luck!

The cases I know personally they never worked out in fact every case the guy went through complete hell with these girls.

Does anyone use Dulche Secreto rooms? I'm think since I'll be staying a little far from the main strip I could take my short time girls there

One of the girls lives not too far from me and I have gone to dinner with her and her husband, they seem very happy. I know a gorgeous "non-pro" from Puerto Plata, a real gold digger, that just arrived in NYC a few months ago with her daughter, her wedding is scheduled for December. I would be shocked if that one lasted, I spent three days with her and she was asking me for all kinds of shit.
