Had been reading a lot about the GLS at Bandra. After talking to another ISGian headed out there on Sunday. Took me some time to find the place, as its really easy to miss.

Spoke to some female over the phone who helped me out. Earlier they didn't have any slots free but calls me up in 10 minutes to call me over. Was kinda surprised to see a dude at the counter when I entered.

Opted for the 90 min Swedish massage. Had to pay upfront which was a bit annoying. After a 5 min wait I am led inside. This is one spa that reminded me of Bangkok! Ah the good days! I had asked for a hard massage but it was ridiculous when I saw the therapist who walks in. She's the heaviest gal I have ever seen in a spa. She was a Thai though.

The girl just wouldn't shut up. She spoke about some absolutely random stuff which I could not follow or would just nod. She just wouldn't leave my ass alone. Here too, I tried eliminating as many risks as possible.
A. Spoke to her before we left. Told her that I will tip her but she will have to be patient and provide good service (DATY + BBBJ is a must for me).
B. Ensured that I didn't pay her before we began.

I am a lone ranger. I don't share my personal pursuit of pleasures with even my best friends.
Should you do the same? If you're a first timer then no. Work with a friend who shadows you. Others need not know that he is around. He should be able to step in and save you if the situation arises.
If you're experienced you can go alone but be mentally prepared with multiple scenarios.
In the last 8 years, I have punched my way out of a bad situation once (Am not a good fighter or athletic) and paid my way out of a situation once (Am not rich).

Take basic precautions like
A. Never carry any id on you
B. Never carry too much money with you. Even if you are carrying a lot of money please don't make a display of it.
C. Never do these things very late at night after 11.30 pm. Even a crowded street looks desolate when it's very late
D. Never carry your primary number or your primary cell phone. Carry a secondary phone with very limited contacts.
E. In an extreme scenario be ready to fight (Or even better, run away fast)
F. Keep a friends number in your secondary phone who will not spill your secret to others and approach him for help only as a final doomsday scenario
