Also to label "AC bargirls" as a terrible bunch to marry is absurd. Same advice to be very very careful to marry bargirls would apply to any group of girls. I haven't seen any real statistics that bg divorcee rate is higher than any other groups. I doubt if the bg divorcee "jackpot" is any higher than another group's.

In America the divorcing spouse by law is entitle to only HALF of the assets and earnings accumulated from the DATE of marriage unless there is a written agreement stating other terms and conditions. Assets acquired prior to marriage can be kept and maintained as Sole and Separate Property provided it is not supported by "community property" during the marriage. Even if supported by community property it can remain sole and separate by written agreement with the spouse. Best not to co-mingle pre-marriage assets with community property assets. Even if co-mingling occurs it is still possible to sort it out during the divorce proceedings. Costly but possible.

Given these laws, I don't know how someone can become victimized! Especially more by a bg than another good girl.

If someone puts the wife's name on title, he volunteer.

If someone buys her a house, he volunteer.

If someone opens a bank account in her name, he volunteer.

If someone makes a loan, he volunteer.

In addition, if a guy does get a prenup then consult a Filipino attorney, have it drawn up in English plus in Tagalog and, if applicable, in the girls own native language as well (ie Bisaya). Otherwise the prenup could be thrown out of court as she could claim she didn't understand it. This has happened in the USA.

Getting married in the Philippines would quickly put an end to the cheap fun that brings mongers there in the first place. Nothing is more pathetic than a monger who willingly takes up legal obligations that prohibit him from mongering only to go sneaking around on tiptoes trying to find a way out of it. All a foreigner gets out of marriage in the Philippines is the legally enforceable obligation to financially support the Filipino and her family. The foreigner still cannot own real property in his own name. His Filipino wife, on the other hand, can now own and has rights to the foreigner's assets in his homeland. In the event of the foreigner's untimely demise she may be entitled to survivor's benefits from his pension, social security, life insurance, etc. He may actually be unwittingly creating an incentive for his wife, her family, and her Flip lover to murder him in order to gain full access to his assets and benefits.

Even girls who never set foot in a bar get approached by Flips looking to use her as a means of tapping into the foreigner's money. They see the marriage as purely a financial arrangement and the foreigner does not get any respect. In fact, he worsens his position by marrying a native. The wife and her relatives will now keep him under close observation. If he is caught fucking other girls, she can now invoke Philippine laws on adultery which carry a jail term for the foreigner.

The wife is now entitled to his money so he can no longer keep it from her and her relatives. If he does not hand it over she can get a Flip attorney and bring suit for insufficient spousal support, and fleeing the country is out of the question since this means he will not be able to clear immigration due to pending legal action. So, there is nothing to be gained for the foreigner by marrying a Filipino but there is a lot to lose. Why go there?
