Imported Booz – was P300 now 350 ($7.87)

Beer – was P150 now 160 ($3.60)

Staff Drink – was P350 now 390 ($8.76)

Bar Fine – was P3500 now 3900 ($87.60 + Tip normally about the same)

Spoke to one of the mamasans and she said they had asked management the lower the drinks so they could bring in more customers. She told me last night that all the drinks just went up. Many of the girls are looking for another job.

Went to 7-11 today and bought a bottle of gin for 200 pesos. One drink at Billboards was 250 pesos. So conservatively, it's about 25 TIMES the markup. No wonder why Burgos is dead.

High rollers, big spending east Asians & noobies spend profligate amounts of money in these bars.
Some of my BG friends from Burgos are always whining about bar is empty but when their messages & emails suddenly go quiet & I know its not because they are getting extra sleep.. quite the oppposite ;)

Glad to hear they upped the price. The rich or the new vistor goes there charge the hell out of them they deserve it. Hell if these bars werent around all that money would all go to the girls and them imagine what we sex tourist would have to pay at la cafe etc. Keep up the good work burgos bar owners u keep it a even playing field for me they got more money than brains so go for it.

BTW last time when I left burgos around 5 or 6 am or so, maybe 7am not sure, I spot on my way back home a place where many gurls, mostly gurls from the bars tend to sit down. For the frequent mongers its near this f..n expensive place called Divino next to Jools..just oposite..

Thought we'd done this subject to death a while back. But guess another P10 on the beer has raised it again.

I think theres essentially 2 types of bar punters in Burgos.

One is the fine gentlemen here. Who frequent Burgos because they tend to live in Manila and know many of the girls. And see how dead some of these bars are. And many are run by people with little business sense.

Then there are the guys who score an ocassional business visit to Manila and love the fact they can get their hands on a 21 year olds pair of tits and don't realy mind the cost because they can't get it in their country. You can always tell these are their eyes are bulging in every bar they enter.

There may be another category. Guys like me. Don't live in Phils but have been a frequnt visitor for many years. I love to bonk in the afternoon and love to drink in Burgos at night. I'm comfortable financially so don't realy care about the price of the drinks. I like the bola bola, and of course the 21 year old whos telling me I'm so gwapo etc.

For those with a real price issue, play the afternoon game. Theres some good fun to be had in the bars, at half the normal price. Assuming work committments don't get in the way.

3. Blue color. The real one is deep bright blue. His was muted.

4. Hardness. The real ones are hard. Have to bite to break. I paid for his to prove a point to him to me and now to you. His was soft. So either it had been out of its blister pack for a long time. Or. Wasnt real.

5. Taste test. Real Viagra has a bitter taste in the mouth. His was sweet.

Thats why. But then again, as my doctor says, 99% of sex is in the head. If you think your going to have a hot heavy and happening time with a girl, brain will take over and will happily send blood where needed. V just adds to the erection.

If however jet legged, lots of alcohol, tired etc. (the way we often are) the brain won't work so well so Viagra or equivalent becomes the vital component.

I've paid 300 a box for four of the Indian generic stuff - if anyone is getting a better price, please let us know. I've got the same price in Ac bars and Cebu streets, but the starting price was astronomical.

These can have side effects to include muscle pain, stomach aches, nausea and rapid heartbeats. One pill may may work fine, the next one not at all or with the side effects.

Generic meds still face regulation and testing before they can be approved and marketed. I use generic meds all the time. That shit on the streets of AC and Makati ain't generic fellas.
