A Different Sunday Hunting Ground
I have not posted much lately as things have pretty much been the usual in Wan Chai, TST East, Mong Kok. I did however find an interesting event last Sunday. I was invited by an Indo maid to a school near Causewaybay for "Dancing Queen 2008".
There were somewhere between 300-400 maids there, about half were dressed as Tomboys and half as proper women. There was a stage at the end of the room and for most of the morning and afternoon either an individual or group would get up on stage and dance for three minutes. There were some real hotties there, and a few girls I recognized who often in the later part of a Sunday afternoon hang out in Wan Chai.
I was one of only two gweilos there so I got tons of attention. It would have been so easy to pick up multiple girls, alot of whom I do not think head out to Wan Chai. Alot of the ladies were really dressed up for the competition. I would have loved to have taken my pick for who to pick up but the lady who invited me got great "face" out of it and it would have caused a real loss of "face" if I left with someone else. She made my appearance worthwhile. She also let me know that these sorts of dancing competitions happen once or twice a month. If you ever hear about one I would suggest going, besides being a surreal experience it would be a great place to grab a sunday freebie. I think much easier than Wan Chai as you are showing an interest in something a girl likes and you are not automatically assumed to be a "bad guy" as you are when you are in Wan Chai. Plus the shows were pretty good too.

A man who established an online prostitution website, the site's
contractor, and employees including a programmer and
photographers were found guilty of conspiring to live off the
earnings of prostitutes yesterday in the District Court.
It is the first case of its kind in which employees involved in
running advertisements for sex workers on the internet have been
prosecuted.
Chan Yuk-bun, 48, Peterson Wong Tze-wing, 45, Lam Yiu-chung, 35,
Kwan Yiu-cheong, 30, Lee Yiu-keung, 31, Andy Kwok, 31, and Chan
Chik Ying, 31, were each convicted of a count of conspiracy to
live off the earnings of prostitutes.
The money came from advertisements that appeared on the
Best161.com between March 2003 and May 16, 2006.
Sentencing was adjourned to May 14, pending background reports
on the defendants.
Community service reports were sought for six defendants, with
the exception of Chan Yuk-bun.
Prosecutor Anita Ma Wing-cheung told the court earlier that the
website mainly helped women at brothels advertise on the
internet.
Details such as the prostitutes' names, ages, services offered,
fees, addresses and pictures could be found there.
Chan Yuk-bun, who set up the company, iChannel Media, said
earlier under caution that he had expanded the business
operation since early 2004 and recruited the employees.
The company would send the photographers to the brothels to take
pictures of prostitutes, which would be uploaded to the website
and included in the advertisements.
The prostitutes were charged HK$600 a month.
The seven men were arrested on May 16, 2006, after police
officers had monitored the website for several months.
Delivering the verdict, Deputy Judge David Dufton said the
prosecution witness, a police officer who had been monitoring
the website, was considered a reliable and truthful witness.
The judge rejected the claim that there was no evidence the
money the defendants received had come from the earnings of the
prostitutes as he said this was obvious.
The judge said that Chan Yuk-bun knew that the money came from
the prostitutes' earnings.
He was also satisfied that these earnings also paid for the
running of the website.
The court heard that the company made a profit of HK$90,000 to
HK$100,000 a month.
The judge said the other six defendants must have known where
the money came from.
They knew that the details of the prostitutes were put on the
website to attract paying customers.
Meanwhile, legislator James To Kun-sun expressed concern that
the conviction might have implications for other fields.
He gave as an example a case where a construction worker helped
renovate a flat owned by a prostitute. If he knew his client was
a prostitute, could we say he was relying on the earnings of the
prostitute?
The laws were still vague concerning this area, he said.
Filpinas as sales assistants
Hi to Joe B,
Good report. Liked your fantasy. Lived in Phils for 5 years and have been going there on an off for past 25. Yes all the gals will always say that they were shop assistants. As they may once have been. Go to any bar in Burgos in Makati and they will always say they worked in a mall. Always. And always they will say its first time in a bar.
Reality is they once worked in a mall or dept store. Then started making little extra income maybe from a mall customer. Then more. Then regular HK or Singapore or KL trips as a means of easy money.
Anyways they did always work in a mall. Just not as their last job.
Also they rotate. Check their passports. They have gone for Singapore to KL. After than to Shanghai. Or HK. I know of many who I have seen in HK who then told me their travel plans. In fact one day I was in Orchard Towers in Singapore when one girl calls out my "bar name I. E. Not my real name. Was a gal Id been bonking in a private booth in a Makati bar not one week before. Great report tho!
Strip Clubs / girlie bars and Pics
i've been reading these posts for quite a while and wanted to join the scene a bit, but found one little pocket of the scene missing some info. the strip clubs / girlie bars. in particular, and wanted to know: what's the deal? as i was passing by the area, and had an older mamasan try to pull me into a bar where i got just a glimpse of a girl dancing just inside (8-9 body but couldn't make out the face). i've read on the forums that these places will basically bleed you dry, but can anyone elaborate? from what i can see, the bar will [CodeWord123] you with the woman's drink and the mamasan will try to [CodeWord123] you with a charge to take a girl out. is there any way to just go in and watch the girls shake their thing while enjoying a beer?
and on a separate note, are any of the girls willing to let you take pics/vids of them during the act as a souvenir? are the thais/filipinos, say, more willing than their dundas street counterparts? do you ask up front?
