Now if you are planning just an angeles mongering trip, drinking, fucking and sleeping then it is very easy to do these things without any problems, best advice stay in a hotel that provides free limo service, it will take you out to the bars and pick you and your girls up at will without getting wet.

So, no need to cancel an angeles trip because its rainy season IMHO.

In my opinion 33 is way too young to appreciate the youngish girls of the philipines. Their patronizing treatment of foriegners will be better apprecated by older men in their 50's 60's 70's etc,. First time in AC and I'd like to post my first day thoughts as well as some questions for the rest of my trip. By the way I'm in AC until Feb 5th so PM me if anyone wants to meet up.

I got to AC around 3 pm. My hotel was right next to Fields, 1 minute walk. The first thing I did was walked around Fields and seeing how nothing was open around that time (3:30 pm) I decided to take a nap at the hotel. At 6 pm, after dinner, there was a lot more activity. Reading the experiences of the more experienced members, I visited several bars and walked out when I did not see anyone attractive. You had to do this I think because the waitresses will hound you as soon as you get in to buy a drink for yourself. This was annoying thing #1 for me. Before I even have a chance to see whether the place was worth staying in or not, I was being asked to pay 100-150 p for a drink which I didn't need. I walked out of several bars feeling guilty that I didn't buy a single drink for the minute that I was in there checking out the girls.

In one of the early bars I visited, I did see a fairly attractive lady and called her over and got her an LD. I was kind of surprised at the LD costs 240-300 each. I guess this is a "double LD" and it seems to be the standard order nowadays. Anyways the girl was kind of shy but we had a decent conversation. I eventually asked to BF her but she was on her period. Big fail right there. I dunno why these girls are even on stage, but lesson learned.

After a few bar hops, at around 7 pm, I landed at Icarus where as soon as I walked in, there was a girl on stage smiling at me. I called her over, got her a drink (240) and again was hounded by waitresses for drinks for me / them which I ignored since I was only interested in the girl I picked. Her English was passable and even though we didn't quite click I figured that I already spent some time looking I decided to BF her. Total price to take her out was about 2700. We walked back to the hotel, and the first thing she said was that she's hungry. So we walk all the way back to Icarus which has a restaurant next to it. I ate already and just ordered for her. Total damage was about 400 or so. Getting back to the hotel, after watching some Tagalog TV, we fucked for about 10 minutes, the experience wasn't too bad. But afterwards, we had no words for each other. She said she was bored and wanted to go barhopping. I didn't find any value staying with her for another several hours, so I said she can go back to her bar. Tipped her 200, which I don't even think was worth it for ST.

At 9:30 I was horny again. First bar on this second going, there was a pretty attractive dancer at Rhapsody I think it was. I called her over, 300 p LD, we talked a bit and found she's been in AC for 5 years. We never really had an interesting conversation, and learning from my previous girl, I didn't ask for the BF.

Right next door was La Bamba. The atmosphere seems a lot more alive than any other bar I've been in thus far. I was asked to sit, and a pretty hot waitress came by and immediately offered herself for 3000 p. She was quite energetic so I tried to negotiate for 2500 but she didn't want to. I decided to check out the girls on the stage. The waitress then introduced a pretty new dancer to sit with me. This dancer wasn't as attractive, but she had her hands on my body the whole time so I decided to get her an LD. Meanwhile the original waitress and another who came by were hounding me to get drinks for them. My think was if she didn't want to go with me then why would I pay for any of their drinks? Anyways I ignored them for the most part and continued talking with the shy dancer girl. We had a decent conversation and it sounds like she's my type of girl. Eventually I BF'd her for something like 2400. But when we got back to the hotel, she figured out her period just started. Obviously I was very disappointed at this time. I said we should go back to the bar and I'll talk with the mamasan. She didn't want to do that so I gave her an option to stay and do it despite her period. Which is safe from a health perspective. She refused initially but eventually we settled on that option. Not much else to say about that. Sent her back without a tip.

Overall my impressions thus far is that there's a big upfront cost with the multiple LDs and potentially waitress tips just to get a girl. I never ended up tipping the waitresses, but even then my average thus far has been around 700 p per girl. One of the main contributors to the upfront cost is the uninterested attitudes of a lot of these girls, leading to potentially boring experiences back at the hotel.

Here are my questions:

1. Is there a way to avoid double LDs.

2. Is is rude to not tip the waitresses?

3. Should I just be generally less accommodating to all the working girls on Fields. Like making sure the girl and I have chemistry before paying for her LD? The upfront costs just seems like a waste.

Encountered some girls on their period like Tass but was informed after buying them a lady drink and moved on. Your comment about the waitress's being your friend is excellent advice that I employed during my stay. They can sort out which ones have kids, can't do LT, etc. Without having to buy Lady drinks and finding out on your own. There are so many girls available you really need some help sorting them out when a waitress can narrow it down for you. And yes the waitress's should be tipped for their assistance when taken. Good advice.

Thanks![/QUOTE]In the afternoons before the bars on Fields open up you can go to Perimeter Road bars like Firepit, Night Moves, etc. Read back a few pages and you will get the information that can save your life in the day time.

The names of the bars you visited and picked girls from are fairly uncommon. People often talk about bars like Atlantis, Viking, Voodoo, Kings Landing, Shipwreck. This is a refreshing change. Good to see someone go off the beaten path.

As for the questions, here are my 2 cents:

1. You could ask for the single LD but the amount you save is insignificant. You don't want the girls in the bar to think you are a Cheap Charlie.

2. Tip generously if the service is good. Most waitresses can be helpful in filtering out the girls for you. Considering it payment for information.

3. There is not right or wrong answer to this. As long as you have fun you should be willing to pay for it, If it seems like harassment then put your foot down. Remember, customer is king.

First things first, most girls will order a dld as standard, yes you could insist on just a single drink for the girl which she could refuse or accept but put you firmly in the tight catagory of guys she is not interested in, don't forget prostitutes are there to earn money not to save us money, buy the dld if you like her enough and want to try to get laid.

Short time is the standard from any girl that is young, slim, attractive and in high demand, that's if she barfines at all of course, accept this if you want these type of girls, of course if your not fussy and chubby. Maybe its just superstition on my part but every time I buy a double ladies drink its bad luck, the girl almost always says she's on mens or has some other excuse not to bar fine. Firstly who is to say that waitress knows any of the girls or is friends with any of the girls,some bar groups employ hundreds of girls who mostly switch and change bars regularly, the waitress could have just started work that same day in the bar or last week and know very little of what goes on or who does what,of course if you offer to buy her a drink she will accept and maybe lie/bullshit,its all about the easy money she can earn not the welfare of the punter imho

There really isn't any common interests both of you will have for a conversation other than the weather. The weather is always hot and it is either raining or not. She and / or her family is trying to survive day to day. You obviously are beyond at least month to month survival and have extra money for travel and pussy. Certainly you are not going to have more than an elementary conversation about politics, corruption and a few other things. Also your frame of reference is completely different from hers. Example: AC is a shithole to you. To her, AC is a modern city with bus runs (jeepneys) supermarkets (JJ market) and mega malls like SM Clark.

How ever you can still have a cordial conversation with the girls.

2. To break the ice, I usually let them use my tablet for Facebook after the first boom boom. After a few minutes they will be giggling and laughing at some of the posts. Then they will have a conversation showing you their family or friends and / or their homes.
