Sorry to hear you may have lost some regular girls that just wanted to get laid due to being perhaps overly paranoid. Just a general Question, why don't you guys bring cash? Or even use western union transfer to yourself form your bank accounts in US or other countries. If you factor in the bank withdrawals fees, that western union transfer is much cheaper. Also there is Remitly whose rates aren't too bad either. Just a thought.

To use transfer to you is an option if you are near places where you can pick up the cash. For the procedure you need internet, time and is is not for free.

Using ATM's is easy, on the go wherever you are even for small amounts and the rates are similar to the fees from WU or others.

Travelling without credit cards is backward. You need them at airlines, hotels, rent-a-car. So, why not use it at an ATM?

Don't count pennies when you travel. Make it easy and safe and enjoy your time.

I have a Starling Bank account that gives me no charges for any foreign transactions including ATM withdrawals. The only costs are with the local bank ATM fees.
