Besides all the banging of the chicas to be done in Sosua, what about kayak rentals. Last time I was in Sosua about 4 years ago I don't recall seeing anyone renting them along the beach. Also, any recommendations of good places to snorkel from the beach versus from a boat would be helpful.
Any information would be appreciated as I need something to do in the daytime during downtime between the chicas!

Thanks[/QUOTE]There are a few rental places as soon as you enter the beach area, but I did not notice any kayaks. But then again, I wasn't looking for kayaks; I get distracted easily.
If you walk down the beach to Herman's Siempre Sol, there is a small reef about 100 yards out; some snorkel there. And you can rent the gear.

I don't think it is worth it to pay for snorkeling in Sosua Bay. It's like a desert down under the water. They have tried to start artificial reefs, but the sealife isn't taking to it. I can send you some pictures from diving if you would like and you can judge for yourself.

Nothing new to report that hasn't already been discussed. It was pretty much dead in the afternoon. After we ate lunch; we realize at the beach they were having some sort of cook off. People from all over we're selling dinners with their family recipes. There were a large range of good of Dominican food. There were a lot of nice looking chicas there, however it been family orientated you couldn't get much action. In my opinion the beach area in Sosua is lame. Very little to no head turners. Believe it or not but she BC is a lot more live on Sundays with more action. It didn't help matters none that it rained its ass off. It calmed down by the evening and the chicas started coming out. We did go to CMP to kill time. I seen the sexy Eve walking around looking like a tall dark Goddess. She was playing the bunny role and doing a good job. I can deal with the weave but not the fake breast! Everyone got an evening treat no problems. We were jabbing and weaving all night Sunday. You can see the construction they were doing on both clubs, trying to close the area off. Even once the walls are built, you can tell that the mongering will continue. The chica in the pink shorts is a winner. 22yrs no kids and a squirter.

Headed to Sosua in the next 10 days! A couple of questions for a newbie please!
1. How big is the Casa Cayena safe? Can it hold a laptop and other stuff?
2. At Casa Cayena and at BB, if I pay at check-in for the full stay in USD cash, will I still have to pay any tax?
3. For a newbie, what would guys recommend as the best places and best approach to find new chicas that are GFE, as opposed to the hard core pros? How much should I pay?
4. Safety issues at Casa Cayena with chicas: what should I watch out for? Do the Casa Cayena people make a copy of their cedulas and keep it, and will the security check the docs?
Any other tips or suggestions would also be hugely appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Over and over I see guys posting on ISG asking if their laptop will fit into a safe. I have been around the world and have never seen a hotel safe big enough to fit a laptop into it. Even the Senty I have in my house will not fit my laptop, a netbook yes. But fear not. There is not a rash of people going into hotel rooms and stealing laptops. Where ever I go I always leave mine out on the desk and plugged in so that my downloads can complete. I may lock the desktop, but have never found a reason to hide or put my computer under lock and key.
Sorry for the question then. And thanks! I have had one big theft in Rome at the Intercontinental no less! With familY! Stole a whole bunch of stuff from about 15 rooms, per the hotel! Believe it not (it took about 4 months) , but their insurance company actually paid up, a few grand for my stuff alone!
And, in Helsinki, many years ago, during the iron curtain days, at the Sheraton, my briefcase was stolen. They took the US passport and threw my briefcase in the lake. The cops found the briefcase, sans the passport, and sent it to me in the USA, many weeks later. Took me about 3 days to get a new passport at the US Embasssy in Finland.
I have spent about 50% of my business days, traveling for work, for about 20 years, so I have seen a lot, even at the best of hotels, and in first world countries. Other than Japan, Sing, Switz, and Germany (maybe) , very few places in the world are 99% trouble-free. It's all in the stats! My thinking was that in the DR, a very large % just cannot afford a laptop, so I thought it might be an issue. Thanks for making me feel better! BTW, I spent a few months in Brazil and Peru earlier this year, and the places were quite free.
Except in Fortaleza, a chica in the disco, was DFKing me and taking swigs of the her drink and shooting it into my mouth, on the disco floor! I think she drugged me and got away with about $200, in my apt, when I came to! First time for me! Never knew that trick!
And in Curitiba, once, around midnight, I got stopped by teens at night at night, near the Bourbon Hotel. They put their hands in my pockets and got about R$ 150, were freaking happy, and ran the hell way! Leaving my heart pounding! As I said, its in the stats! I have been to Brazil maybe 35 times, over the decades, between work (mostly) , and pleasure!

I also have a Samsung chrome book that is smaller than my macbook that I now travel with that fits everywhere. Don't know if its a good idea to have so much trust to leave a big laptop sitting out. I got clipped by a chica in 2009 for my Galaxy phone while she was giving me a blowjob on the beach at Boca chica and it was hell changing all my accounts. From facebook to ISG, the passwords had to be reset. Plus most laptops can't be traced unless you have some kind of security devices on them. My advise would be to hide your laptop between the mattresses and have a lock password.
Damn Haven, you must have a target painted on you. I used to live in Rio and would stay a lot over my girlfriend's house in City of God and have never had anything happen to me. I think the only thing I have ever had stolen in my travels was my first time in Cali, Colombia. Somebody with a key (it had a deadbolt and a lock on the doorknob) went into my aparthotel room and stole my SD cards (back when thy were $75 / pop) and a hat. They went into my wingman's and stole his jacket. We did call the police and I never went back to stay at that stinking place again.

Pay cash at the ISG group rate when you arrive at CC. Never been to BB, never had the desire to go there.

Sosua is a mix and match of hard core and new girls getting their feet wet. What to pay? I never ask and pay what I thought the service was worth. Others will chime in on this topic for sure.

CC will keep their IDs while the girl is at the hotel, night security guard will do the same. I don't think they make copies of the I'd.
