Sabai House had great talent a few years ago, while Sabai Dee across the street is also quite good. Honey I & II are good too. But the place I would willingly repeat is Rasputin. And not for the CIS girls, but for the local beauties.

Seems like Walking Street is the equivalent of BKK's Soi Cowboy or Nana. I'm more interested in places such as La Belle, The Lord, etc, (I much prefer the quiet atmosphere of an soapy to bar streets) but they don't seem to exist in Pattaya. I agree with Natty's ranking of the Pattaya clubs except I didn't find hot girls in Happy-a-go-go. Then again I only dropped into Happy twice. What's Up and Sapphire were far and away the best 2 clubs I visited on Walking Street but there are still a handful I never made it to. Sapphire and Crazy House (Bangkok) have a similar feel to them. Lots of fun.

I found the girls prettier at Sabai Dee and Honey 2 and top end girls were much cheaper than Rasputin. A couple of the 6-7k baht girls at Rasputin were hotter though. Sabai Room was almost on par with Rasputin. Honey 1 (not in the same area) was inferior imo, although my Thailand buddy likes Honey 1 the most.

As Wolvenvacht says, don't write off soi 6 just because it's 300 barfine + 1000 to the girl. Some very nice girls can be found if you walk through enough times on your trip.

Last night, police were out doing random checks on soi 18 (off 3rd road). Looking for what, I don't know. In any case, to lessen your chances of being pulled over, wear your helmet if you drive a bike. And keep your eyes open to scan ahead. There were at least 10 of them stopping bikes in both directions. They were pulling people over and telling them to go into a another area with a bunch of cops waiting.

Pipelayer or FLhawk have their standard operating procedure on mongering and it works for them, Newbies take note of the difference and see what works for you.
Pipelayer is 100% correct, you do not need to buy the mamasan anything, in fact you don't even need to buy the bargirl one drink. Just point and shoot, she will go with you depending on how much she needs the money and what she thinks of you. There is no need to spend an extra baht.
However.
FLHawk buying some lady drinks is not wrong either. Most of the time (most of the time for you sharp shooters) buying the girl 1-2-3 drinks loosens her up and she relaxes with you and you most of the time will reap the benefit of a better session. As for the mamasan there is no need to ply her with drink and more drink but buying her a drink pays dividends if you are looking for something special or unique or frequent a club often. Also buying mamasan a drink when you already have the bargirl seated next to you having a lady drink also increases the girl's reputation with the mamasan and some girls appreciate this and perform better with you. Why? Mamasans make around 300-400 baht a night before tips / lady drinks and that's it! Contrast that with a bar girl who makes 300 baht a night plus trips / lady drinks AND half her bar fine and all her ST / LT fee. Some mamasans put pressure on the girls to ask the customers for a drink for mamasan (yes, this can be annoying) but if paying $6 for mamasan's drink gets me a better chance of a good performance, I usually buy the drink.
Bottom line buying the ladies and mamasans drinks is totally optional. Buying a couple drinks will increase your chances of a better session but by no means guarantee it.
Second take home point here. Guys ALL the time are asking me in Medellin, Bogota, AC, or wherever how are you getting such GFE?? Its simple be a BFE. Treat the girls like a prostitute and your chances that the session will be like fucking a prostitute are higher. Treat the girl like she is your GF, ie buy her a couple drinks in the bar before you BF her, stop off and get something to eat on way back to hotel, perhaps go play pool or listen to music for an hour and then back to hotel room and again your chances of a better session increase (no guarantees in this life) Anecdotal evidence, for awhile now 80% of the posts about AC are guys crying about how girls never stay LT in AC anymore. For those that have never gone to PI before its different than Thailand. There is no pay bar fine and then negotiate with girl ST / LT amount there is just pay bar fine and girls stays with you all night. But Filipinos have been more and more trying to run out after the first session and not staying all night (grandma is sick, my baby is sick, etc etc). Guys are saying AC is dead, stay away etc etc. Its not dead, yes things are changing a bit. But this last October in 9 nights I had 8 all nighters why? Not because I'm good looking or a super stud at all its because I take them out for something to eat (sometimes here in Pattaya that is just 60 baht for street meat but its the thought) buy a few drinks, play pool, dance, etc.

In my Pattaya report from last May I discuss this a little. I have been negligent in completing my trip report from last November, but I will be posting the last three days of my five day trip soon, and I will discuss this there as well.
But briefly, the mamasan can get you girls that you might not otherwise be able to get, and if the girl knows the mamasan likes you, she will not attempt to cheat you or treat you badly. It doesn't mean you will get a GFE by any means, but if you pay for LT and expect the girl to stay with you until 10 AM and not bug out at 5 AM, and the mamasan has told her to stay until 10 AM, you can be sure she will stay.

They'll then ask you to buy so and so waitress a drink, her friend will join the group and before you know it, every time you step in that bar your expected to fork out 1000 baht on drinks. Saw this happen to my buddy, he came in to set up a prebooking with a gogo girl whom he already had a contact number and before he walked out after his one beer he had a 2000 baht bar bill. I'm not saying its not working for you, just keep the amount of people asking to add to your tab to a minimum. The waitress and her friends can't possibly do anything for you except bring you a beer quicker than normal.

I've been in Pattaya for a couple days now, and will be writing a more detailed FR soon. This is a fascinating, wonderful place, and so very different from Bangkok. I have already visited many soapies (Rasputin, Honey I, Honey II, Sabai Room, Sabai Dee), along with Soi 6 and various places on Walking Street. I'm amazed by what's on offer so out in the open. Even more than in Bangkok!
But one thing I simply cannot find is real Viagra. Every pharmacy I've checked (and I've checked over half a dozen now!) only stocks fake Viagra. You can tell it's fake because the packaging is slightly different, and the pills are rougher looking, and darker in color. I can't seem to find a single store that sells the real stuff. Anyone happen to know a pharmacy I could try?
