Two nights ago I was sitting, having a beer, at a table on the outside terrace at Livingstone's Lodge. The table was immediately outside the Sportsman's bar. At about 9 o'clock a "team" of seven 30ish Indian guys walked up to the door of the bar. Their postures and their verbal behavior was quite aggressive. One of the ladies working at the bar came outside, waied the newcomers and welcomed them, whereupon they started to verbally assault her. First, they demanded to know why there weren't more women, since: "We are seven and there aren't enough for all of us." Then, their spokesman, loudly demanded to know the price of a beer and immediately retored: "That's too much. We are seven. You should give us a discount." Once told that no discount would be coming in the foreseeable future, the spokesperson demanded to know the price of a lady's drink, and again demanded a discount, which was of course refused. The argument continued for maybe 5-10 minutes, with the Indian voices-both English (of a sort) and Hindi-raised to levels generally considered boorish in Thai culture. Eventually, the guys stormed off, I supposed to attempt to intimidate someone else at another bar.
What these morons thought they would gain from their loutish, unacceptable behavior is a mystery to me. By the time they left, they had thoroughly alienated every customer and all of the hotel staff working in the vicinity of the argument. I've read a lot on this board about Indians being turned away from some clubs and bars in Thailand, and if the incident I witnessed is somehow characteristic of a larger population, I can understand the Thais' revulsion at such behavior. In my decades of living as an expatriate, this would make my top 5 on my list of vignettes of thoroughly unacceptable conduct. Of course the Thai staff, being Thai, handled the entire thing with grace and humor, without ever raising their voices.
I thought Insomnia was more a place to pick up free girls but boy was I wrong, seems most girls were on the clock, so to speak. I guess this explains why no Thai guys go here LOL.
Also had the unpleasant experience of a creepy farang, who looked like Sting, staring at me while ordering a drink at the bar. Seems quite a few creeps in these places!
Maybe FREElancers?

Has anyone noticed that the Help & Info thread is gone and the Bangkok Reports thread has returned?
Wonder what the story is behind it.

The Future of P4P
Well well,
LEt's lighten up a little.
THAI GIRLS: UNITE.
Gone are the days when your Sorry ass "Farang of the night" (or of a couple hours) comes up with that shitty excuse: "oh, I have only 1500 on me." instead of the agreed 2k earlier?
Now, seeing as the majority of you TGs in the GoGo bars have iphones, wouldn't it be interesting to use this? That way, your dumbass farang can even get miles on his cc.

BURGER King Delivers
If, Like me you are a Die Hard BK Fan and think MickeyD is Shit in a Bun, well, Burger King now delivers its delicious Whopper right to your door.
For the Newbies: 1112 is the number for Pizza Company so don't panic if they answer "Pizza Company" when you call

http://www.swiffpay.com/
Nothing new. Lots of girls, the shaved ones, already have the swiff device and unit built in. Swipe your credit card "there" and you can then access it.
The technology guru are still trying to work out the abouts for micro-chip cards and how to digit the PIN code, if and when required.

Good Haircut in BKK?
The last haircut here in BKK was a near disaster, the lady had no idea what she was doing, kept asking me is this ok as she was cutting it, and eventually the owner came in for guidance. I asked her how long she been cutting hair, expecting an answer of no more than a few months or years......"30 years"! WTF? Unbelievable she been cutting hair all these years and is clueless..lol
Can anyone recommend a place to get a good haircut? It's important because I got some internet dates lined up for free girls this week, and I don't want to look like a clown.

The salon is all steel and mirrors, you can't miss it.
They do also manicure or pedicure.
I also used the Nana Hotel Massage parlor where (ladies) they do barber jobs.
Nothing to complain about.
Wondering what the hell happened to you and which place did you go (an alert for ISG fellows)

This has obviously gone back to being the Misc. Off Topic thread.

The place was somewhere in Siam Square, I can't really remember where it was. I'm not really good with directions.. I was looking for any ol place to get a haircut. She was an elderly lady maybe in her late 50's early 60's, and the one thing I distinctly remember about her was that she was a mouth breather
I am assuming Nick was refering to McDonalds!
okay I believe the only edible thing at Mackas is a cup of coffee, but depending on who made it, and that was only because late at night in my home country, all other coffee shops were closed. At least Mackas had an espresso machine.
