Just driving more business to it
http://www.standardmedia.co.ke/entertainment/pulse/1/gossip/340/shocking-details-of-nairobis-thriving-porn-industry/1
I am always amused whenever I see the exposes about illicit enterprises in the news, be it on TV, online or in the newspapers. I am sure they feel this is going to allow the proper authorities to be notified and that public pressure will cause it to be stamped out. Such efforts may diminish the scene for awhile, but I have never known illicit behaviour to be totally squashed in the areas I have known it to exist. One unintended consequence of this reporting is that it may actually drive up supply and demand by spreading the word, so to speak. Well, I have an enquiring mind and I do plan to investigate this myself! .
I also like how they refer to young adult ladies as "young girls" as though they could not make up their minds what they want to do. I think Africa needs to ban all church missionaries from coming into Africa and over time, you will see false outrage about stuff like this disappear. It is the church missionaries that are exploiting the people. Report on that standard media!
Trip Report Nairobi 27. 29 Jan 2013. Other Side of the Tracks
Last day in Mombasa before flying to Nairobi.
26 Jan – After having breakfast, she accompanied me to the airport and saw me off since I decided to fly back to Nairobi early ahead of my Tuesday departure. In hindsight, I should have stayed on through Sunday. However, I had arranged a Saturday noon lunch meeting with another afro connect and was to go clubbing with a afro chick I met the last time in Nairobi. I also decided to upgrade my accommodation experience and booked a night in both Chester House ($100USD) and Hilton ($150USD). I took the pre-arranged taxi to Chester House, but you can do better by just taking a taxi waiting at the airport. That would save you 500 to 700 bob. I met up with my noon date and she was nice. She is a true non pro and has a good job, and I plan to meet her again when back in Nairobi. Later, I met up with my other afro gf Ms. J (no, not the Ms. J from Tyra Banks America's Next Top Model since I only swing straight, if you know what I mean). Unfortunately, my condition did not improve much even after removing the tick and I just did not feel up to going clubbing which was my mistake. So I merely got teased and aroused by her but no action.
27 Jan – The next day, she went back home and around noon, I checked out of Chester House, met up with another old afro chick, grabbed a taxi and headed to the Nairobi Hilton. Yes folks, prior to staying at Chester House, I had just stayed where most of the locals stay on the opposite side of Moi Avenue away from Stanley House, Hilton, InterContinental, etc. I had been on the 20 buck experience, so I decided to experience the other side more closely associated with expense accounts and well-to-do tourists. Both Chester House and Hilton are nice and gf, but both Hilton will ask for the girl's I'd even if she is with you at check-in. I had a good time with my tall, slim afro gf, and although she too was on her period, we still managed to fuck.
28 Jan – The next day, I checked out of Hilton and had thought about staying at Eka Hotel, a newly built hotel along Mombasa Road not too far from Serena Hotel. However, since I was not feeling like I would maximize that opportunity, I decided to go back to my native ways and I took a taxi to Hotel Green Court after parting with my afro gf. I had arranged to meet Elina from Craigslist. She stopped by and we chatted but she had said she was not into anal even though she said she loved it both on the site as well as in her email and phone text. I would have still fucked her, but since I was not my peppy self, I decided to save up my energy since I had another Craigslist hookup stopping by later. Rose from craigslist had some nice boobs and if any of you guys have met her, I am sure you love her! Unfortunately for me (and her) , I had also called up another afro chick to meet me and their arrival times were within 30 minutes of each other. I seriously had wanted to get with the afro girl. Rose was nice too and although it was a bit of an awkward situation, I made it work by engaging both of them. It was late so both had to leave. I walked my afro friend to matatu stand, and although I could see disappointment in her eyes, I knew I could still hookup with her. We are still in touch and I will be seeing her when I get to Nairobi. So imagine that! I had met 3 chicks I easily could have fucked but went away without doing so! Damn ticks! If any of you are still wondering why I am harping on that, it is because the rash that resulted from the tick bite spread from my groin to my scrotum, and it really emitted a foul odor. I was taking a shower 4 times a day to keep it to where I could just sit and not smell myself, and I also applied talcum powder to the area. So had it not been for that tick bite, I would not have developed a rash, headache, or became sluggish in energy.
29 Jan – After a late checkout so I could freshen up before my evening flight, I took a taxi to JKIA, chilled out in the Business Class lounge, and then I flew back to US on KLM. I was really glad about that given my condition.
So that sums up my Africa trip from this period. It started with a short stay in Nairobi followed by a longer stay in Kampala. Then a quick jaunt out to Accra for a week's stay before stopping in at Kisumu, Mombasa and Nairobi all under two weeks time. In the past, all of my travel to Africa had been on either Delta or KLM, and I don't see that changing. And I had hopped around within Africa on Kenya Airways. Now that will change as I also want to visit Rwanda and Ethiopia and I have found I could get a short taste by flying either Ethiopia Airways or Rwandair and staying there overnight. Plus, they offer cheaper fares than Kenya Airways. So all of that combined with fact I can no longer get full frequent flyer mileage credit with Kenya Airways has caused me to go with the absolute lower priced fare when traveling within Africa. My FF status affords me perks I am not ready to give up on the long haul flights however.
Update: I am totally recovered from the tick bite and actually went on a 2 month work excursion in West and Central Africa about a month after returning from this outing.
